  1. I'd use AVG, and download malwarebytes to run once every week or two in addition to the avg...
  2. I actually think a lack of deviant sexual behavior within couples causes more divorces than the opposite. When one person has a strong sex drive, and the other doesn't, cheating generally occurs. Couples who are open with each other, and admit their desires tend to last in the long run, from what I've seen.
  3. LOL, not a linebacker on the football team, though I was on a team in middle school, playing most every position on both lines at times. I had a personal fitness class at school, which generally consisted of running, basketball, etc... always something to get the heart rate up, then weight training after that, then I'd hit the gym for at least an hour, usually on an elliptical going at a very good clip. The problem was that the more I worked out, the more tired I became, and I had no energy. I had to take energy boosters, caffeine pills, etc to get the energy to do any of this, and then I
  4. This is the problem with our system. I can tell you from working at NW Regional myself, most of the people that end up there just stay a few days, get almost no treatment, and are released in absolutely no better condition than they came in. And about half of those who come in with symptoms miraculously recover from their "symptoms" within an hour or two of arriving, often before seeing a doctor or getting medicine...
  5. Resting metabolism rates are most definetly not universal. Everyone's varies. Mine was so low when I was diagnosed with my thyroid problem that the dr said that without completely starving myself, weight loss would have been nearly impossible. In fact, back in high school I worked out 3 hours per day, eating one small meal per day, and took diet pills. I lost about 10 lbs, getting myself down to about 170. After that, I hit a brick wall, and despite several months of trying, could not lose one more pound.
  6. I think the HcG is optional... My sister gets the B-12 shots, and takes a appetite supressant... I was actually going to get on that program, but since then I've been diagnosed with a thyroid issue, which, once corrected, should have me losing weight without extra medicines.
  7. While I highly doubt that was why he hid it there, I'd probably have run with that if I found it.
  8. I know a few people who've gone to synergy in Acworth, most have liked the people there, and said that the plans they come up with generally make sense. They do the B-12 shots and weight loss pills, combined with diet and exercise. They also do something called HcG, not really sure what that is...
  9. The homeowner was the rightful owner. I think most people would have kept it.... they really should have inspected the property before selling it.
  10. I take it you didn't read my post... not that that shocks me...
  11. This I have no problem with. I have a problem with the 350 lb woman who pops both boobs out of her top in the middle of a restaurant, in a rather flamboyant manner, so her two kids, who are old enough to walk over, can get a drink... That was disgusting...
  12. It is the same. In both male and female circumcision, the most sensitive parts of the genitalia are cut away. Neither are necessary, and in most parts of the world, neither are practiced. The only difference is that quasi scientists in the early 1900's thought that male circumcision was a good idea, and it became a common practice in many areas. That was debunked around the time of WW2, and many countries stopped doing it by 1950. The reason I mention Europe is that many people have a incorrect idea that circumcision has always happened, and that it goes back thousands of years in their f
  13. All US beaches are not top optional. And it's not that people are afraid of boobs, I love boobs, but it's all about time and place, especially boobs that are unattractive, and have three year olds clamped onto them...
  14. I usually don't want the government telling people what to do, but we don't allow parents to mutilate their daughters by cutting off parts of their genitalia, and there is no compelling reason to allow them to do the same to boys. The fact of the matter is that circumcision was not common in the US until about a hundred years ago, and is not common anywhere in Europe. And that's the way it's been thru almost all of history. This is a recent fad, that has faded in many parts of the world, and that is finally starting to fade here. Here's to hoping that the "religious" people who think that it i
  15. I'm with you on this one. I wouldn't allow them to circumcise my son, even though his mother pitched a fit about it. If he wants it done when he's old enough to make the decision, I'll pay to have it done. Frankly, I don't see the difference between circumcision in men and women, both are unnecessary, cruel, and when you come right down to it, mutilation. The other issue is that there have been occurrences of doctors taking off too much, and causing permanent damage. I'm not saying it has happened frequently, or even recently, but I do know of at least one case, and in that case, it was a
  16. This should be illegal, at home or in public, after age 2.
  17. Definetly call them. I paid online once, they didn't credit it to my account, and I never received a disconnect notice. I came home from work a few days later, and my power was off. It cost me over $150 in extra deposit and reconnect fees to get the power turned back on, and that didn't even happen til the next morning. I'll be honest, If I didn't find out shortly afterword from a relative that we know a higher up at Greystone, who fixed this for us later on, I probably would never consider moving anywhere that required the use of Greystone again.
  18. I'm actually not a huge fan of TV Land. Besides, I crave new episodes I haven't seen before.
  19. I sear my roast well, season with garlic salt, season salt, pepper, and paprika, and then dust it with flour. I add no liquid. I cook it for 8 to 10 hours on low, flipping it once during cooking. Towards the end (1 hour til eating), I take the roast out, add enough liquid (usually just use water) to make the amount of gravy I want, and mix well, then put the roast back in to cook in the gravy. Also, I have recently been doing the same as Shananigans. When I went on a diet, I didn't think I could have pot roast anymore, but doing it that way, the fat does literally just lift right off the t
  20. I hate when good shows die... Between this, and the (to me) unexpected cancellation of Lie to Me, I'm more depressed about the future of TV than I have been in a long time.
  21. Probably the same thing I found in my food last time I was there. One of my friends didn't believe me when I told him, and the next time he went in, there were cockroaches swarming all over the silver ware...
  22. This. A regular modem is like $50 to $60 brand new, a combo with MTA is much more expensive. Magic Jack or a similar service is a much bigger savings per month as well.
  23. This is exactly what I was thinking when I read this... Why in the hell would she be charged?
  24. Martin's could make a killing off breakfast delivery...
