Breast Milk Ice Cream Smashing Success in London

omg nasty... -
Where did I put my "Wheat is murder" bumper sticker? Read up on wheat harvesting, and you'll find that it's a bloody business. That piece of bread your eating probably cost more lives than your steak did. Go here to read more about wheat is murder.

Mom Found Not Guilty After Spanking Child
adam&jessica replied to NewsJunky's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'd say the exception to that rule is when you see a child who did nothing wrong, and who appears to be physically terrified out their parent. I had one occasion where I was going to step in between a parent and child when I was a guard at PRYDC, but luckily an off duty police officer beat me to it. The woman looked cracked out, and was screaming at her child, and raising her hands like she was going to strike them, and her child flinched and looked like they were going to literally die of fright. -
Mom Found Not Guilty After Spanking Child
adam&jessica replied to NewsJunky's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If you spank a child properly, you shouldn't leave a bruise. I've tried to teach my son to respect me and he generally does exactly what he is supposed to do when I'm around. If he doesn't, I don't even have to spank, because he'll see the look on my face, and get upset that he's disappointed me. His mother on the other hand has problems with him, and has to spank, because she is inconsistent with discipline, and does not set any ground rules. -
Makes me wish I'd sued my job when I fell due to them not salting the parking lot. I can see the 2,500, and maybe like 20k to 30k if they had to lay out of work for a significant time, but 1 million? That's insane.

Does employer have right to require your Facebook password?
adam&jessica replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Hell No. If they asked, I'd just delete my facebook. I do have one old facebook I don't have access to anymore (exwife changed the password, and I no longer have access to that email address. I've asked facebook to delete the acct, but they never have). If I were asked for my password by my employer, I'd literally say "Hell No!!!" . Frankly, I'd love to see them try to fire someone over it, and then have that person sue the pants off the employer. It's a completely different topic, please don't go all Postman on us. I've never asked a babysitter for their facebook password, o -
Naval Academy Graduate Finally Given Conscientious Objector Status
adam&jessica replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
They should evaluate everyone before putting them through an Academy (I imagine they already do this). If they didn't claim the status then, they should not be allowed to claim CO status, unless they can make a significant impact for the armed forces in a non combat area. -
It was Floyd county, and the people there looked at me like I was an idiot, and said these weren't the right papers. No more help than that. When I took them to my attorney, he said the forms weren't right for GA, and threw them out, and started over. My ex ended up pulling out of the settlement due to the delay, and it turned it a ugly cleaners divorce.

That's part of what I find weird. Makes me think that the police and/or government is suspicious of a family member or close friend.

Something certainly doesn't seem right about this. I haven't noticed this getting a ton of publicity, compared to similar cases, and also, what 12 year old doesn't know not to go somewhere with a stranger. And there is no way she didn't want to go, or else someone inside the Little Caesars would have heard something.

Why Bust One Union, And Let All The Others Fly?
adam&jessica replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
They either do this, or sacrifice the general membership at the enrichment of the top tier. I wish they were useful, but my primary interaction with a union, the people who needed them to step up stabbed them in the back instead, and gave their hours/money to older members. -
I did that. The court didn't take the papers, they said they weren't the correct ones... I ended up paying the attorney anyhow.

I liked the first few episodes, but after a while, it all looks so staged and corny I want to puke.

Did Anyone Extend Kindness To A Snake, Yesterday?

Some people are having trouble finding work. Regardless of gender. So that part of your post is just crap. As for the rest, why do so many men put up with dead beat wives? The naggers? The screamers? I was in a store the other day, and I seriously wanted to offer to loan a guy some balls, because his wife was talking to him like he was 2. For the record, I also aspire to be a stay at home dad. That'd be awesome.

Looks like the big red K store may be closing too...

Bass Pro is not more expensive than Walmart. They've got like 100x the selection, and equal prices for the quality. And the one down the street is ridiculously expensive. I have no idea how they stay in business. -

It won't be Bass Pro. Or Cabelas. Those stores build directly on the interstate for supply and also visibility. No way they will build in Hiram. Acworth is probably the closest a Bass Pro would ever get to Hiram. -
I always had an issue there. I nearly got creamed by some idiot woman who was going about 50 down the middle lane one day, while I had two little ones in the car. I had to fight hard not to chase her down.

Colleges first need to learn to treat their students like adults. I can't tell you how many times I've reamed out the deans and their underlings over stupid stuff at the schools I went to, specifically GCSU. The rudeness from the administration to the students at many colleges was shocking to me when I first went to school.

Kmart where I grew up was really nice as well. All the ones I've been to in GA are pretty nasty though. -
I think your post is what you say this thread is... Back in 2001, Mac was much better for Art/Music. Show me a single program now that doesn't have some type of equivalent on PC. You can't. There are so many different programs out there, you can do almost anything you want. As far as the $999 laptop, if it can't do my job for me, then it's overpriced. Right now I can build a windows or linux gaming desktop for much, much less than that. And it'll last at least 4 years. The one I'm using now is about 3 years old now, and still runs everything great. With no upgrades. And I probably spent $600 o

15- Year Old Boy Beat By Houston Police
adam&jessica replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That one deserved it, plain and simple. Should have gotten 10 to 20 for attempted murder. A good proportion of them never got any discipline at home AT ALL. Regardless of race. If they had some discipline, they would have learned to take direction, and wouldn't be in jail, for instance, at 16 for murdering a pregnant girl. -

Exactly. Cabelas, if they were to open, would do Adairsville or Acworth. That has already been established. They aren't coming to GA til tax breaks are approved for them though. That's why the Adairsville site was scrapped in 08. -

I used to work with Juvenile Offenders at Paulding RYDC, which is a class 5 facility, which means mostly convicted or suspected felons. Some are in there for murder. Most of them would not run from cops unless they were guilty of something in the last hour or two. You are over dramaticising the situation, just like alot of people do. And don't give me crap about the community leaders. Most of them are grown up thugs, and aren't doing a damn thing to try to straighten these kids out. If they were, they'd be condemning the kids for committing these crimes, rather than constantly ragging on -

If the kid wasn't guilty, I doubt he'd have been running. If you rob people, and then run, you should expect some injury in the process. They should certainly of stopped when he was down and submissive, but I don't feel bad for the kid. And I definitely don't care one bit about the Malcolm X wanna be and what the "hood" thinks... Your son probably wouldn't have run from the cops either. And the kid was convicted of the burglary. Here is a hint for those who don't realize it. People with a clear conscience usually don't run from the cops.
