Here are real life facts. Fact 1: My husbands premium and mine are going from a combined $260 a month to over $700 a month if we stay with BCBS. Fact 2: I have been trying for 3 weeks to get any ANY information from the exchange. So far I have managed to get a log in, and to put in information for my family, but due to a bug on their site it has my husband listed 5 times. There is no way for me to delete these extra entries, so I am stuck until and I quote from the online help chat "The bugs in the site are worked out."

Where is the angst? I was just making an observation. I'm not from Georgia, so when I moved here and lived here for a while I always thought it was odd that many people seemed to claim Native American heritage (not insinuating that they are lying). I guess I never took into account that it was a heavily Indian populated area. I've just never lived anywhere where that many people said they were Indian.
-
There are several in this thread that said they are part Indian. I have run into MANY in Georgia who make it know they are part Indian, no matter how small that is. Having lived several different places in my life, I have never lived anywhere other than Georgia, where people have made such a deal about being Native American. Meaning that in other places that I have lived, Cincinnati, Memphis, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, South Alabama, I've never heard so many people talk about being Native American as I have heard when I lived in Atlanta. Just an observation. Kind of like how people in Cincinn

What is it with people from Georgia and their need to be part Indian? I've never lived anywhere where I heard more people claim they were Indian. Not that there is anything wrong with being Indian, or that you shouldn't be proud, I've just never lived anywhere where people thought it was that big of a deal to be an Indian descendant.

What do you think happened. -
So people think that somehow people are blaming xerox so that it doesn't get blamed on the government shut down? I don't think the dems would let that cover up go unnoticed. They would love it if the shutdown was blamed for this.

I would think that if this were factual that there would be a lot more miscarriages. I can only speak for my experience, but I had two successful pregnancies, and used a lot of reheated plastic containers while pregnant.

Why didn't they just tag line it "The Perfume Child Molesters Love"

Things must have changes. I learned a lot of those things in school. And of the things I didn't learn in school I took the time to learn myself.

That's all well and good, but what do you do when your necessity spending exceeds your income? Get another job I guess? But I'm working full time and taking care of 2 children when not at work. I'm not sure how I am supposed to come up with more money.

Two things, First, how much perfume are you spraying on that it lingers all day and can clear a room? I do two spurts over my head and walk under it, and I feel like that's gone by mid morning. Second, I don't wear deodorant either I don't really sweat and I have no BO smell. Of course I shower daily, so that might be why. When I have worn deodorant it's always made me feel icky having it on my underarms.

My almost 3 year old can open doors, I haven't been quick to put extra locks on since she is still in a crib and doesn't attempt to climb out, but when we switch her to a toddler bed we'll probably just put a chain lock on the exterior doors. Shes not one to wonder off though.

If there are two loving involved parents in the house then why are they getting a divorce? Maybe these fathers and mothers should quit being selfish and do what is best for the child. When there aren't two loving parents (say for instance one parent is an addict), why should the responsible parent have to lose their financial security because the other parent is unstable. It's a lot easier for a single man or woman to live on $18,000 a year than it is for a man or woman and two children to lose $18,000 of their income.
-
Because the aim of child support is so that the CHILD does not experience a hardship, so it is trying to keep the CHILD in the life that it had before the divorce. Since most children end up with the mother this means that the father must sacrifice a good chunk of his money to support the kids so they don't lose their home, their activities, their lifestyle.

Accidents happen, but I think we need to quit lumping people getting assistance, or struggling into the lazy worthless category. I have 2 small children. I have been on assistance. As it is right now I could use some assistance, but I make to much to get it, but not enough to actually cover my expenses. You can tell me to cut out things, but I don't pay for my TV or cell phone. My family covers that expense. I pay for internet, but I have to have that to do my job. I am out of things to cut and now the govt wants me to buy insurance. I have no more money to give. If I pay insurance I have to q

I think I can comment as an expert since I in fact have an 18 month old, and a almost 3 year old. My 18 month old is tall for her age, and big for her age. She can do things most 18 month kids can't do. But you know what she cannot do? Open a door. Not for lack of trying. She tries to turn the knobs, but she just can't do it.

You know who is truly screwed in this country? The people that make just enough to not get assistance, but not enough to pay all the bills. These people are working full time yet get no help when times get tough.

I created an account and got to the point where I put my families information in, and it won't go any further. I gave up. I'll try again later. -
Did you know that you can qualify for disability if you have substance abuse issues? You also have to have a diagnosed mental disorder, such as Bi-polar, or severe depression, but just because someone doesn't have a physical impairment, it doesn't mean they don't qualify under mental disability.

Same reason my kids call my husbands cousins that are his age aunt and uncle. Easier for now than calling them cousin so and so.

I've only had the flu once, and I never got the shot. Last year my mother got a sever case of the flu, and my youngest daughter tested positive for it after being around my mom, but it wasn't as bad. I never get the shot and don't give it to my kids.

All we got was a little bit of rain. We're 2 hours inland so I didn't expect a lot, but it wasn't even a strong rain.
