Northern Georgia's Pumpkin Patches, Corn Mazes, Hay Rides and More!
marteenj replied to Blondiega1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
there is a new corn maze on macland road in cobb, but near the paulding line the best one our family has been to is the mayfield dairy farm near chattanooga -- they have a huge corn maze (people do get lost in it) and lots of other fall festival type activities for the kids such as a corn cannon, haunted trails, pumpkin patch, cow milking, etc -
if you really want to press your luck ----- go hang out near emory's exhaust ducts

ah, i realize they cannot be 100% eliminated, but the majority of the troll and cyber bully problem would not exist if they could not be anonymous. If it is a legal issue, then there are ways of finding the person's identity, however, generally, people would not get their kicks out of it if there is a real risk of getting their ass stomped, or tires slashed, etc
-
The majority of the trolling will stop if individuals were required to use their real name / a verifiable online identity. As long as someone can be anonymous, they will speak their opinion. (now, there will always be the mentally challenged that just like to cause chaos though) If someone cuts in your line at the grocery store, you would probably have some bad thoughts toward them, but most individuals would keep it to themselves, etc. The same situation would be different if you knew there would be no retaliation and no identifying you.

according to the news article: ""Rolling coal" is very similar to bullying, only in automotive form. It involves taking a big diesel truck, and modifying it to spew huge clouds of soot into the air every time the driver stomps on the accelerator. More recently, drivers of such vehicles have taken to doing it near hybrids, electric cars, cyclists, pedestrians and even the police--to intimidate or simply to make some kind of statement. And after experiencing coal-rolling first-hand, one New Jersey lawmaker is working to make the practice illegal in his state." https://autos.yahoo.co

Is the story possible? maybe But odds are, the story was manufactured in the late 1960s. There are no newspaper articles from the late 1800s involving fake nickels or a josh tatum. The story first appears in 1968 People in the coin collecting business think it is just folklore: http://www.coinbooks.org/esylum_v10n08a15.html "there were only four Joshua Tatums in the 1880 U. S. federal census, and none of them was a deaf mute! I suspect his story most likely originated in the 1960s in reaction to the Secret Service's recently adopted policy of confiscating "racketeer nickels" fr

Tony Stewart involved in fatal incident Saturday
marteenj replied to CitizenCain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Intentional or accident, it still resulted in the death of another person. Even if there are not criminal charges then stewart will probably be paying alot to get out from under it. Most any plaintiff lawyer will bring to court stewart's previously documented anger issues. Racetracks maybe exempt from legal action in competition sports, but this could be a good case as to whether another competitor can be held liable for a perceived bad behavior. -
the official answer is 7-10 business days -- mine usually come in a week FYI -- next time if you are in a hurry, go to the main office near atlanta airport and they will print titles while you wait (however, the place is huge, you have to take a number, etc and the line is around an hour long)

It really depends on how long you plan on keeping it and if anything else is wrong with it, etc whether it is worth repairing. Also, keep in mind winter is not too far away and used mower prices will drop a few hundred $$. A similar used rider will be around $350-$500 in December and January For a new similar engine, you can go to Parker Sales or Dallas Mower or Douglasville Ace Hardware, but i would imagine it will be in the $500+ range installed. They do not give out free estimates. You can call to see what a similar engine would cost though If you or someone else can install it,

If you are talking about resurfacing the face, then the fraxel is the way to go. There are alot of other laser treatments out there that say they have similar results, but they are not the same as the fraxel laser system. Usually you will only find it at a doctors office / dermatologist, and not the day spas. The down time is basically a weekend and back to work on monday looking like a minor sunburn. Unfortunately it usually costs about 50% more than the other "discount" laser centers mainly because an M.D. is doing it, not a nurse or esthetician. As far as a recommendation, Dr. Kahler in

(Paulding) Thief steals 2,000 gallons of gas from open gas station
marteenj replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The leak detection system should have set off an alarm, being there was more gas leaving the tank than being sold ---- Being this is not an antique gas station, it would have the newer required tanks in the ground and electronic monitoring. They may not have the newest veeder-root system, i don't know, but there is still a federal requirement for leak detection. -

Without knowing your budget and whether you already have something to pull a small pop-up or a large fifth wheel or even bumper pull trailer, all i can say is research online as much as you can. Also, you must look at why you want a camper. If it is to save money on vacation, then think again --- RV parks in vacation areas want $50 per night and up. Even the national parks and state parks are approx $30 per night and reservations for those parks must be made 6 months in advance for popular places (especially near a holiday) If you get anything less than 6 years old, then it will lose al

At the cobb parks and rec indoor pool on macland road, the life guards there also offer private lessons. You do not have to be a cobb county resident. They may give you info over the phone or you may have to go in person and check with one of the guards. It was approx $20 per hour last year

Well, if you need parts for that dakota, there are about 12 of the mid-'90s dakotas at pull-a-part. If it happens to need a computer, they are approx $32. If you have the 6 cyl engine, then a 1992 to 1995 computer will work
