so, she took a plea in state / cobb court to save her butt in 2011, but her lawyer did not tell her that the feds look at every conviction, whether it is nolo or 1st offender or juvenile, etc oops

if any of you have a child at wellstar pediatrics, they have "surveys" that your child (parent) fills out that has some intrusive questions referencing guns, alcohol, and drugs in the household..... does it stay at the office? or do certain answers get reported elsewhere and can come back to haunt you in the future?

Car insurance for teen driver; already has 1 accident on record
marteenj replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
there are several issues involved as to civil liability of the parents and insurance rates --- is the teen 18 or older? is there a vehicle in the teen's name or are they only driving a vehicle in parents name? does their driver license show the same address as the parents? is the teen a full-time high school student or are they full-time college? -
Vogue school is about the same as others, you get a different student each time you go...... i have also been to both chattahoochee tech campuses for their cosmetology services --- acworth and marietta. They also do perms and coloring services too. fyi- you can get a dental exam & your teeth cleaned by supervised students at the douglasville campus of west ga tech college

indirectly and long term --- the best football programs will get the best facilities AND best athletes (students) through school choice.... just look at McEachern in the 80s & 90s with their facility and players and scholars {although that was b4 school choice, there was plenty of students with fake addresses so they could go there}

The same company that does the roadie delivery service or uber has a company called Your Mechanic. They come to your house and repair your vehicle, etc and they have a feedback system like ebay so less chance of getting an idiot repairing your car. You put your repair info out there and local mechs bid on the job, etc. --- good pricing, search online for it

publix has them, i have seen them at some kroger stores and a few dollar general stores too, but if you can wait a week to get them, then cheaper online at amazon, etc

The CASH for SCRAP cars guy, are you still here?
marteenj replied to subby1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Donate it if you need a tax deduction, etc --- depending on the year vehicle, you may have a problem getting rid of it if you do not have a title for it. Alot of places will only haul it off for free, because the scrap vehicle pricing has been around 4 cents a pound. The average car will only get you $120. You can call the pull-a-part locations and they will give you an offer for it based on the year and model, not the weight. The last one i took over there, i got $450, when the local paulding/douglas recyclers were offering me $135. You can rent a tow dolly for $40 uhaul -

I agree -- i smell a title issue. A common issue is when a dealer buys the truck at an auction, etc and they usually don't get the title until a week or so later in the mail. Then the dealer's title clerk gets involved with the paperwork. In your case, lots of things possibly could be wrong, such as the title had a lien on it or it was a salvage title or lost tile, or even a altered title, etc and the dealer could not legally sell the truck to you. They used the 'ol scare tactic with the "defective air bag" ruse to get the truck back in their possession.

I am registered on "chipero" and get about 5 loads a year for free. Go to their website. There are a couple other sites out there too, but i have not used them. The douglas county landfill has all you could want for free, but you would have to load your own truck by hand or use a bobcat. Be aware, fresh chips are not that great for growing vegetation as a fertilizer, as they actually pull the nitrogen and nutrients out of the ground, but they will be ok after a year or 2, when they start turning dark. Of course, if you are not planning on growing a garden or young trees, etc in that a

Who would you recommend to rebuild an automatic transmission?
marteenj replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
why does the trans needs rebuilding? what is it doing or not doing? what are the codes? i had both dallas dodge and douglasville aamco both tell me that my chrysler/jeep transmission had to be rebuilt for $3k. I did alot of online research of my year model and found out that there is a chrysler service bulletin out there regarding the exact same symptoms and trouble codes i had --- and it said to replace the shift solenoid pack. so, a week later i installed it myself for a total cost of $180 for a chrysler oem solenoid pack and 8 quarts of fluid --- no more delayed shift problems th -
Look at the garbage companies -- either the residential ones or the dumpster drivers. If he has hazmat, then florida rock seems to be always hiring fuel delivery drivers (they are near buford hwy / 285 fuel terminal for interviews, but he can be assigned out of powder springs, etc)

We had a similar situation with our wreck here in paulding in 2012 -- the tow company charges a much higher rate for a "wreck" vehicle than a normal tow / disabled car (even if the wreck rolls & steers) the tow company charges once to take it to the tow yard and then charges you again to take it to the body shop (or home) idiots at state farm tried to say they would only pay a max of $200 for towing and the rest was our bill to pay the paulding deputy told us we had to get it towed (the gsp told us it only had to be moved out of the right-of-way) the paulding deputy t
