Once again, NITRO does not know what he is talking about and just spewing what he thinks is best in his opinion: "Official Code of Georgia Annotated (OCGA) Section 40-8-73 (e) says that no motor vehicle shall be operated with a windshield or rear window having a starburst or spider webbing effect greater than three inches by three inches." Sooooooo, that is the law, slick ---- has nothing to do with cracks being "visible"........ (and if you really want to get really legal about it, the law says nothing about a "crack" in the windshield at all)

There are 2 discount auto glass places next to pull-a-part junk yards and they will install any used windshield for $100. Their new windshields are approx $180 installed, but if it is not in stock, then you may have to go back another day. Normally, you have to take the car to them and wait 3-4 hours for the sealant to dry. There is no appointment, walk ins only. Of course, the used windshields are the factory OEM ones that came with the car when new, not the cheap ones abra and safelite sell They are located next door to the pull-a-part south atlanta location and the pull-a-part nort

Normally, when you are acting as attorney, you can mail legal documents to anyone in the case without violating the restraining order. But this guy also mailed her "resources" to help with her paranoia. "acting as his own attorney, Lake mailed to Leslie a copy of his appeal of the protective order along with copies of emails and blogposts about Leslie and resources to help her with what he characterized as her “paranoia.” That mailing, along with two posts he made on his website are cited on the warrant for Lake’s arrest, executed on November 28, 2011 at his Smyrna apartment."

there are 2 granite quarries in the area, they both sell the big rocks by the ton, but you will have to bring a trailer for them to load or a dump truck the one on mulberry rock road (near ridge road and hwy 61) will load pickup truck or a trailer the one on bankhead near hwy5 douglasville will not load a pickup -- only a dump truck or a trailer allowed once loaded, they are not that difficult to unload or move if you use a staff or metal pole, etc if you want the rocks delivered, then there is CSC in hiram/92, or go to Sandstone corp near downtown douglasville

Man sues Wally World over having to pay taxes on coupons?
marteenj replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I understand how it currently works, my point is, sooner or later, the government may try to tax the "full value" of items, instead of the sale price. For example, currently, if a bank does a charge off of your account, they may accept a partial pay off and they will send you and the IRS a 1099 form stating the full amount they wrote off for you to then pay taxes on --- correct? -

And i can see where this can open a big 'ol can of worms ---- What if the state starts taxing on the retail value of all items? Next time you go to kohl's (or another fake sale store) and get those jeans "on sale" for $14 and the regular price is $75, would you pay the tax on $75 then? -
watch out, and don't get scammed

I am sorry that you have had your eyes closed all these years --- the federal government has been doing this a long time, taking over many cases where the accused was found not guilty in a state court. It is not double-jeopardy because the fed does not charge them with the same crime that the state lost. One of the more famous wins in this category for the feds was al capone in 1931. He could not get convicted in a chicago courtroom for his real crimes, so the feds convicted him for tax evasion and prohibition and he still went to prison for many years. --- In more recent years, the fe

The fan controls the amount of cold freezer air coming into the refrigerator if yours has separate thermostats for the freezer and the refrig. The thermostats are dependent on the airflow to properly sense the temp in the refrig, so if the duct exit is blocked by food, etc or if the fan is dead, then the temp could be way off. Is your freezer on top, on the side or on the bottom of the unit? Since your refrig is too cold, i would guess you have a top freezer?

that would be my guess, the fan that blows freezer air into the refrig is not working / blocked duct

It's almost Back To School time................................
marteenj replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This paulding school schedule was tried in the 1970s in cobb county, and then they figured out the extra 4 weeks of air conditioning costs in august was significant enough to change to school starting the first week of september. It was that way a few years until the 1980s, when they got a happy medium by starting in the 2nd or 3rd week of august. -
Well, if they were that dishonest (or unethical) with discharging you, then i am sure they have done other things that were shady & under-the-table and it may be worth filing suit in small claims court to get their attention. You can also appeal unemployment decisions to a higher court (but you have to be denied a claim first)

There area few college scholarships out there still, but the majority of them are gone by each spring. Now, i do know some guys that have their bachelor degrees and they were still able to go to truck driving school for free on the HOPE "grant" (not the same as hope scholarship. There seems to be some sort of loop hole that the grant will pay for vocational programs as long as your major is in a "diploma" or "certificate" program --- even if you have graduated from another college (i saw this going on last year at 2 different schools) There are a couple of free vocational retraining progra

That is one opinion, But think of it as an educational experience ---- if you don not find out the latest info on crime, the latest scams and how others are being taken advantage of, then you are setting yourself and your family up as the next victims Let's say, for example, you are taking a vacation in los angeles this week. You were out walking last night looking for dinner and turned down crenshaw looking for a restaurant...... tell me more about how those rose-colored glasses are going to save your white-*ss http://www.ajc.com/ap/ap/crime/zimmerman-protestors-block-bay-area-fr -

We did not ride the thing when it was at pensacola beach during this last spring break, and won't be riding it here either. It was over-priced down there too and we only saw 2 or 3 of the cars being ridden at a time then ---- and that was with all those teenagers walking around with money burning holes.... -
It is an addressable box, so, their computer can also tell you the box history and things like: when the box was first installed / turned on, and is it currently turned on the MAC address of the box ---- to see when it was turned on last and the location any movies, etc bought with the box The average person you talk to at scamcast does not know how to research that info. You may have to talk to the converter room tech. Also, get the serial number of the box. You need to file a police report for the "missing/stolen" box. That gets the claim escalated to someone higher than a CSR in
