  6. Must be a legal adult (18) to own property Insurance will be almost twice as high if the title is in a teen name, and they must buy their own insurance / cannot piggyback on parents policy unless the car is in parent name (if they can find a company to write the policy on a 18 y.o.) In a suit we had last year, the 16 y.o. teen driver was at fault and cost us $60k in medical bills. Our attorney said in georgia it does not matter who owns the car, we can only sue the teen driver that was at fault and the insurance company on the vehicle (the mother owned the SUV and has considerable as
  7. You can get some ok money as long as you deliver it to a company. If someone has to come to your house to get the car, then you are looking at around $100-$200. Keep in mind, you can rent a tow dolly for $40 a day or a trailer for a little more and pull it to a junk yard Almost all the recyclers now are paying 10 cents a pound for cars in any condition, so a typical 3000 lb car would get $300 If the car is more or less complete, (meaning still has engine / transmission / exhaust, etc) then the Pull-a-Part locations around Atlanta are paying a flat rate of $450 for any car regardles
  8. So, lets keep it simple for the end users of the "cloud" --- Let's say you have something valuable to yourself or your business, and you are being told that the BEST thing to do is rent a storage building in another state (or country) and keep the valuable object there, where you cannot keep an eye on it (where you do not know their security systems, or who else has access to your valuables, etc). When did it become "acceptable" for businesses to store their data off site? sure, you keep a backup off site, but your entire business? Look at just recently, sony had an issue, and t
  9. i find it ironic that the "labels" protester and terrorist are getting blurred in the U.S. --- take a look at the definition of terrorist in the dictionary --- or better yet, from the FBI website: "Domestic terrorism" means activities with the following three characteristics: Involve acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law; Appear intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination. or kidnapping;

  11. In Tennessee, you lose your car after the (3rd or 4th?) dui. There are monthly police auctions in some towns up there -- that is how many vehicles they are seizing.

  17. I use a combination of sites when i am looking at auction tractors tractordata.com ----- gives me good info on tractor specs and what options were available from the factory when it was built. I use tractorhouse.com and ironsearch.com to figure out what they are currently worth and see if they are worth buying to make a profit.

  23. the precedent is already out there, though very few know about it --- "“Citizens may resist unlawful arrest to the point of taking an arresting officer's life if necessary.” Plummer v. State, 136 Ind. 306. This premise was upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States in the case: John Bad Elk v. U.S., 177 U.S. 529"
  24. after watching and listening to the video, some thoughts come to mind, and i will play both sides of the coin............ if this was a "soccer mom" in the exact situation, i don't think there would have been shots fired -- she may not have been pulled over in the first place this is not some poorly trained small-town cop, this is a state trooper -- but then again, why would he ask the guy if he had been hit (by the bullets) the guy was going into a store when stopped, why would his wallet / ID still be in the vehicle?
