From what i understand, unfortunately this happens pretty often. It only makes the news when the homeowner is killed or it is an important person wrongly accused. In a jury trial, all you have to sway to your side is one juror, so the odds are extremely better than convincing one judge that may not be completely unbiased. In the particular court that you are referring, i was not able to get a ticket dropped due to the officer wrote the wrong date on the ticket. She told me it was an "honest mistake" for the officer and let it stand. Now, the ticket is being reported to insurance companies with that incorrect date too.

the prices are coming down in part due to the winter decline in demand ---- but prices are also coming down because the refineries that caught fire back in august came back online a week or 2 ago.

the way chattanooga and southern company (southern linc system)& others are successful is they use fiber optic cables wound inside the braided power cables as well as separate fiber lines. Of course, the fiber optic system is immune to the high current in the cables

When i buy a vehicle at an out-of-state auction house (business) or at a police department or city fleet (bought from the government), etc i have to pay sales tax twice. Once when i pay for it in that state, and then again when i get a local georgia title for it. I have to apply to the georgia dept of revenue to get the georgia tax refunded back to me. But, overall, i have to pay the original sales tax due to actually completing the sale in that state.
