Question for those green thumbs on here
marteenj replied to jasonclancy0428's topic in RECENT TOPICS
LPPT is right, stop using pine straw or pine bark. You can also start using lime to change balance out the acid soil, it will take a season or 2 to correct it. -
You have forgotten the trickle down effect of the sex industry and technology. Once the technology is developed, then it will be modified for other uses and eventually become common in the household. If it was not for the porn industry, you would not be enjoying DVD movies, the old laser discs, or VHS tapes (vhs beat beta tape technology due to porn support) Similar to the military projects, many ideas would not become realized unless there was money to throw at it and develop it -- then others will come along and change it for the average consumer to mass produce for profits.

Keep in mind that the driver only "accused" of DUI. He will not go to court for about a year. The accident ticket will not wait that long to be disposed of. I do agree though, the judge can reduce or drop the ticket if they choose depending on the circumstances. Now, for the civil court, there will be a shared liability because of the illegal activity (DUI)

That is the asking price, they can "ask" anything they want. What they accept is a different story. If you look at their web site, it looks to me they are asking alot for every thing on there. Stuck in 2007 prices. http://www.securityexchangebank.com/PDF/BankOwnedProperty.pdf

Paulding DA To Meet with Arrested Teens
marteenj replied to LisaKW@bellsouth.net's topic in RECENT TOPICS
it does not matter in this area, most job applications now ask if you have ever been arrested, not "convicted". Other states (especially out west) require the application to say convicted of a crime, etc --- here are the actual 2012 georgia tech admission application questions related to this issue ---- other colleges have similar questions: "1. Have you ever been convicted of a crime other than a minor traffic violation? Yes No 2. Are there any criminal charges currently pending against you? Yes No 3. Have you entered a plea of guilty, a plea of no contest, a plea of -
it will be still going on -- when you have the clowns like mike tyson making bold statements about it in interviews like the following: "It's a disgrace that man hasn't been dragged out of his house and tied to a car and taken away. Forget about him being arrested—the fact that he hasn't been shot yet is a disgrace. That's how I feel personally about it." link: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/upshot/mike-tyson-sex-drugs-trayvon-martin-222803402.html edited -- better link here: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/mike-tyson-trayvon-martin-case-disgrace-george-zimmerman-221115400.ht

and then the feds will go after him for violating trevon martin's "civil rights"

I don't know of any free ones other than the teaser/marketing stuff from those private schools in marietta/atlanta. If you go to a tech school in the area, HOPE Grant will pay for the majority, if not all of the classes. If you are low income and federal PELL grant covers you too, then you can actually end up getting paid to go to school. Check with the different schools, however, if you are over 65, then most georgia public colleges are free anyway. Chattahoochee tech only has a few computer classes at the dallas campus, if you want more, you will have to drive to marietta or acworth .

It took the EPA many years to finally ban DDT, mainly because there was no proof of being toxic to humans. It was a debate whether a chemical toxic to the environment was more important than the human lives saved from killing malaria mosquitos.

the test track was built in 2006 near thornton road -- here are 2 links in reference to it: http://academicvc.com/2009/03/27/american-maglev/ http://www.mdjonline.com/view/full_story/16321943/article-Around-Town--Maglev-proposal-presents-a---new-TSPLOST-twist?instance=home_news_bullets

Supreme Court Rules in favor of Strip Search for Minor Offense
marteenj replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If the public doesn't like it then they can bond out before being processed into the jail. The strip search only occurs when they are processed in and change into jail clothes (many hours after being brought in). -
How Much Is 4 Acres, With 400ft Road Frontage Worth

too vague of a location.... Something on highway 61 has a different value than something on ridge road or mulberry rock road. Also what is the current zoning? -

"An unemployed Austrian man cut off his own foot with a mitre saw so he could continue receiving jobless benefits." the full story here: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/man-saws-off-own-foot-continue-receiving-unemployment-211222700.html I would put this one in the same category as the alabama prisoners that cut their tendons to get out of chain gang work.

A very good example of why motorcycle drivers get a bad rap...
marteenj replied to tbird's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Unfortunately, that is going on every weekend in the area --- lately they have been doing this on dallas nebo road, ridge road, bakers bridge road, sweetwater church road, etc. It seems to only be a handful of the same bikes living in the area doing it though. -
Those are good concerns, but since the topic is in reference to abandoned subdivisions, so who is going to pay ? In most cases, the developer/builder is hiding behind bankruptcy laws. Either the banks owns the lots now or would you put it on the home owners that bought early (that may have started a H.O.A.)?

You could try parting it out and then crush the rest -- the most valuable parts on that year would be the rear end, transmission, computer/ECU, headlights, fog lights, interior switches, air bags (with module and 2 sensors), and the hatchback (if the fiberglass is not cracked), upper dash panel (if not cracked), both front fenders. I would say the windshield too, but it is huge & really difficult to get it out without breaking it. Cut the cat off and recycle it separately. Not much else worth getting off the V6 plain camaro version
-
they don't advertise the mosquitoes in those fancy alaska cruise brochures
-
more info? V6 or V8 or Z28, automatic or 5/6 speed. Heck, if nothing else you can get about $300 to crush it
-
It depends on what you mean by "recycling". Are you trying to be a good citizen or trying to make money, etc? You do realize that they don't just dump the trash and bury it like the old days. The trash is somewhat separated locally and then sent to regional landfills that pick out the plastics, glass, metal, etc then bury or burn the rest of it.

Yes, it is interesting going down the interstate in los angeles, stuck in traffic doing about 20 mph, and then the motorcycles go between the cars at about 35-40 mph. As well as stopping for a red light on secondary streets and 3 or 4 bikes will move up to the front of line and go first across the intersection. Just one of the many things different out yonder... Also, does it make sense that motorcycles can ride without a helmet in florida, but you will get a ticket in a car for not wearing your seat belt there?
