  1. Mine was named after her dad's favorite car. This one will have a middle name from The Cash family, just depends on whether or not it's a boy or a girl as to which name it is. I'm not too hyped about either one, but I got to pick the first names.
  2. That sounds like something one of your older two would say. Mine is five, almost six, and absolutely full of crazy phrases. She got all worried yesterday about going to school and said 'Mom...what if I have to fart? Will she let me go to the bathroom?!' . I didn't know what to tell her, other than to please not raise her hand and ask to go fart. Today she woke up and said 'Mooom, I'm late for school!'. I said 'No baby, you don't have school'. She gave me a look and said 'All that excitement for one measly day?!' She's obsessed with government and politics after going to class wi

  4. No joke. That's $350 a week...$1500 a month if it's a 31 day month. Holy crap.
  5. I have another appointment Tuesday...I'm begging for Zofran. They gave me another anti-nausea med, but it knocks me out...alot of good that does while in class.
  6. Gimme about three weeks and I'll be needing hats. Cop insurance with Cobb is awesome. My dad's been with them for 23 years.
  7. Alright, previously preggo ladies....fix me. I've tried mustard, ginger ale (which sort of works, but gives me crazy heartburn), ginger snap cookies, saltines, eating smaller meals...the only thing that seems to not make me sick is cantaloupe and I certainly can't live off of cantaloupe for the next 30 or so weeks. I had this same problem with Mini-Me...stayed sick 24/7. The only way to make it even somewhat tolerable was to just munch on little things all the time. The end result was an 84lb weight gain over the course of 42 weeks. I'm already up 15lbs and haven't even hit the sec
  8. Maybe she was just trying to turn your $4 into $400 to go towards that $10,000 in treatment or medication?
  9. I don't know a whole helluva lot about politics, but I do know a great deal about books. I know that the Obamas have had multiple best sellers, which have raked in over 6.6 million as of 2009. So, I don't really agree with them taking a vacation using Air Force Two...but she's the president's wife. Chances are, the secret service wouldn't let her take a different jet anyway. And I highly doubt she's out blowing what little he gets as a salary from being the president. This dude makes upwards of $100G a week - 5.5 million a year. Nah. I don't mind them spending money. None of my darn b
  10. I haven't lived in Merchant's Court, but I've lived in St. Ives and Magnolia Creste. Magnolia Creste is about as bad as Merchant's Court nowadays.
  11. I'm slowly learning that majority of apartments have a nice collection of hoodlums. Some nice kids, but mostly hoodlums. I live in an apartment...kiddo isn't allowed to play with the neighbors in any of our 13 buildings. As soon as I saw the double routes for apartments, I went 'Aha!'
  12. It's true. It's just certain routes, not all routes. Some of the schools have gender-based classrooms as well. My brother started his new position at an elementary school in Cobb yesterday and he has an all-boy class. No really, it's true. Check out the bus routes: Example: Purple 1st Load Caswyck Trail Apt. Girls White Bus 1st Load Caswyck Trail Boys K-5 Dark Blue 2nd Load Farrington Girls & K&1st Boys Yellow Bus 2nd Load Farrington Apts 2nd – 5th Grade Boys The boys and girls buses also have different stops.
  13. Thanks! Lucky Charm is due on St. Patrick's Day ♣
  14. Bus Driver of #93 picked up my screaming, yelling, bouncing, squealing Kindergartener this morning. She was friendly, and didn't seem to mind when I lingered at the door a little bit.
  15. Mine bounced right out of bed ready for Kindergarten. As the morning has progressed, she went from wanting to ride the bus to wanting me to take her...then to not wanting to go at all. Poor thing is so nervous she's just staring at her breakfast.
  16. I get pressure headaches and my joints ache (I have arthritis). It's been bad today. Kiddo and I argued over whether or not it was going to rain. She just came running out of her room screaming bloody murder at the thunder. Will she ever learn that mommy is always right?
  17. Yup, we were there. Other than having to park way up on the hill and walk my tired, nauseous, preggo butt in the heat, all went well for the most part. The new building rocks, but I'm a tad nostalgic and wish kiddo had been able to spend *one* year in my old building. Guess that's what I get for having an October baby that has to start school a year late. She towered over the kids that were in the classroom. She got the teacher I had hoped for, I signed up on the 'Room Mom' sheet as well as for Art Fest, Reflections, and Accelerated Reader. I'm excited that her teacher is pregnant,
  18. Yup...scrub with baking soda and vinegar, then coat it with baking soda and leave it there. ♥
  19. That'd be the one. Psssssst. PM Me. By the way, tuition is 'due' tomorrow, but students with Financial Aid have until August 24th to pay. Most Financial Aid pays out on August 24th as well. HOPE will come in a little earlier than that. That'd be him as well.
  20. When I was a teenager, I read a book called 'The Pilot's Wife'. Mister Pilot had a wife and family in two different countries. I think they recently made a movie (or tv movie) based off of the book. Crazy stuff.
  21. Pft. This list is going to be long. I can't: can veggies make jelly make bread from scratch make anything from scratch, really. quilt (Okay, I can...I just don't have the patience) grow plants...unless it's a succulent or cactus type plant, and even those are in danger of annihilation I can, however, iron like nobodies business, shuck and 'put up' corn, cannot STAND the smell of 'dog', and watch the news every night. Guess I'm more like my grandmother than my mom, after all. Lord help us.
  22. Yayyyyy! She's due round about the same time I am- I'm due on St. Patty's Day.
