I do know that my mom uses Kirby and has had her issues with them over the years (many many years) but for the most part, they haven't ever pissed her off enough to quit using them. BUT, it may be because there is no one else around...I'm not sure. ::keepingfingerscrossedforyou::

did you think about Cornerstone in Douglasville? I don't know anything about them but pass by there from time to time.

Habit....I have not done it there but I am guilty of stopping at the red light at Sweetwater Church and Bakers Bridge. Pure, simple, mind is somewhere else and my habit took over. I guess it could be worse...by running the red light.

The bank must pay the taxes owed on properties that they own. If they choose not to pay, the county will auction the property off for the taxes owed. However, the bank has ONE YEAR to re-pay the person/entity that purchased the property plus 20% for the property and ownership will revert back to the bank. This issue just happened to a piece of property close to me. This is how the tax commissioner explained it to my neighbor who went into the office to talk to someone about it.

aww now....that's just wrong.

we ate there for dinner not too long ago. Pretty good, fairly reasonable. Service was also good.

I got a nice ring with 1.5 cttw diamonds. Was married 6 years to him with no kids. I kept it after the divorce, had it melted down, and made it into a new ring. It made a nice size ring and a necklace charm. Doesn't bother me a bit.

Here's what happened to my dd in 3rd grade. There was this (who I thought was)obnoxious little boy in the class across the hall. He was constantly making comments at my dd, one of which was "Sweet Cheeks". I emailed her teacher about it who then talked to the other teacher about it. I am at my kids' school volunteering a lot, it was obvious to me that this little boy had severe behavioral/mental type issues. No one ever actually said he was but as much as I was at school, it didn't take long for me to figure it out. So, I feel positive that the staff was aware of the situation, as he was

Navy Federal Credit Union is the best banking facility ever. You have to be currently serving or formerly served in the armed forces to join though. -
only once. It was heavenly.

Now, in light of the new facts of the story, it is even FUNNIER than it was to begin with. I can only imagine.....as I sit here laughing.

A friend of mine is looking for a boarding facility for her two geldings. Here is what she needs: A daily turnout with only geldings. One of her geldings is very aggressive only to mares. 2 stalls for nightly stalling. She will supply feed and keep stalls clean. Needs someone to feed morning and turnout, feed evening in stall. As close to Douglasville as possible. She lives close to Greystone/Bankhead Hwy. PM me if you know of a place. Thanks!

Well said and VERY valid points! My bio mother does not even want to talk to me. My bio father is a very interesting fellow but like you, am VERY HAPPY that they gave me away and I have the parents that I have. I am an adult and still have an in-tact immediate family that no one can ever take away from me or my children.

I hired a private investigator. I had very little to go on like my birthday and the hospital I was born in. Three days later, I knew everything. Cost me $1500.00. None of my people are on FB except my half sister. I would have never known any of them had I not hired the PI.

most often it's not WHAT you say, it's HOW you say it; and quite often by choosing your battles wisely. Sometimes people need to make their own mistakes. Don't deny someone an opportunity to learn a valuable lesson on their own by stepping in and controlling the situation.

there's an app for that! Is it free? and how do you find it?

thank you for posting! I signed up for the automatic emails but apparently they don't work because I didn't get notification for this. I have been waiting on this one!!!

Well I guess I should also say that the policeman that interviewed my hubs said they had not yet confirmed that they were shooting inside the mall even though there were other witnesses that say they heard several gunshots. This policeman told him that they didn't know if the sounds these people were hearing were the display cases getting smashed in. I guess all that will come out when the news reports it.

My hubby was on the clock/working, sitting in his work van in front of Macy's when the alleged perps exited the store. The band of 3 perps hopped in a car parked uncomfortably close to him. Last he heard, he thinks the police apprehended one behind the mall in that subdivision that is close by. So, yes it is true. Hubby is on the police report as a witness.
