Well, let's see which one of Obama's 23 new executive orders would have prevented this... ... ... ... Nada! -
Other reports indicate the dog was not humping another dog, but they were playing and he was riding piggy back.

"E-cigarettes ... Impolite To Smoke In Public."

I'm glad the airlines and government buildings won't allow e-cigs. My brother-in-law passes gas and says his smells like roses. -
Since there are so many people killed by cars each year, why don't they design all cars to go no faster than 55 miles per hour (or no more than the speed limit, since you shouldn't be going over the speed limit.) They could also make every vehicle so you'd have to blow on a tube in the steering wheel before you could start the car, just to make sure you're not drinking. Besides, if you're not drinking, then you shouldn't have a problem blowing on that tube to get your car started. All existing cars would have to have these new devices put on them or you could pay $2000 each year to ke

Just so you know, with the high cost of ammunition, there will no longer be any warning shots. -
Here's hoping the bankruptcy court denies many of her liabilities and makes her accept personal responsibility.

When does a foot only measure 11 inches ?
Georgia Dawg replied to CitizenCain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The law suit is probably legit. The company is claiming something that it is not selling. That's the reason a "Quarter pounder" indicates that it is the "pre-cooked" weight. If Subway had a disclaimer somewhere that indicated that a "foot long" was only an approximate measurement then they'd be in the clear. They shouldn't be able to sell you a gallon of gas, milk or ice cream if it really isn't a gallon. I expect the next suit to be brought against Sonic regarding their "foot long hot dogs". -

I was taking Topomax when they suspected I might be having mini-strokes. I never saw the weight loss benefit, but taking Topomax did affect my job performance (I was a consultant) as I found it difficult at times to put together a coherent sentence.

When does a foot only measure 11 inches ?
Georgia Dawg replied to CitizenCain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It appears Subway has admitted its their fault and this could hurt their defense. Subway has weighed in on the scandalous revelation that the chain's footlong subs sometimes are actually more like 11 inches long. (Non-math people: a foot is 12 inches.) A Subway representative sends a statement expressing regret for "any instance where we did not fully deliver on our promise to our customers" and promising to "ensure that every SUBWAY® Footlong sandwich is 12 inches at each location worldwide." The company also says that it has "redoubled our efforts to ensure consistency and correct length -

If you stand facing the west and look over your Left shoulder, you'll see Jupiter. And if you bend over and look through your legs at the eastern sky then you'll see Uranus. -
We used to eat mud pies, ride on the back dash in the family car, sit on our parents lap under the steering wheel when they'd let us. I remember my baby brother getting to ride ON the steering wheel with his feet through it while we were going down the road. Kids, today haven't been tempered like we were. That's why I think they get sick at the first little something that comes along.

Guns and Violence - what can be done?
Georgia Dawg replied to The Sound Guy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It's working out pretty well for the city of Kennesaw. I'd say not too well for the city of Chicago. How about enforcing the laws that are currently on the books? -
I was watching an upload of the helicopter video feeds and saw the police removing the rifle from the trunk of his mother's car that he drove to the school. When the officer was unloading it the shells that were being ejected looked more like 12 gauge shotgun rounds, more so than .223 rounds. I also saw the video that NBC reported that the rifle was found in the trunk and only handguns were taken into the school. So how is it that this 'rifle' with a large magazine is now being thought of as the weapon used to shoot these kids? Or is this another case of: say a lie long enough and often e

Guns and Violence - what can be done?
Georgia Dawg replied to The Sound Guy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
How about enforcing the laws that are currently on the books? Who's to say if new laws are enacted to stem 'gun violence' that those laws would be enforced? We know criminals don't change their behavior when someone passes a law that should alter their behavior. So are you okay with enacting new laws that will limit the rights of law abiding citizens and do nothing to stop the 'gun violence'? The way to stop the 'gun violence' is to put everyone on equal footing. Instead of 'gun free school zones', allow faculty to have arms. We know the "drug free zone' stuff is really workin -
If you are on sewer, take a water meter reading before and after you fill it and then call the water department. Often they will waive the sewer charge for that amount of water.

Obama and Biden lied? Perish the thought! He's got half of the American people believing that he's doing this all for them.

Didn't watch it. I was working while those who were supposed to be working were watching it, or others who had the day off. Trying to relate the Nation Debt to the average person - imagine that for each US Taxpayer we each owe $145,852.00. Get back to work - thar's bills to pay!

I believe that our US Military continues to have disrespect for their current commander-in-chief. While a President should command respect, Obama has lost the respect of many of the military and about half of the US citizens. Should 'We the People' decide to overthrow this Government when it takes that one step that is the "last straw", it might be a bloody day for this nation. However, it appears that most of the citizenry who would support this President are going to be massive under-armed and won't provide much resistance. It might not be that difficult at all for 'We the People' to take ba
