Your hometown isn't far from my mom's, Michigan City. I went back through there earlier this year, I can see why you moved, but I'm sure it wasn't always like that...

Its a tough call. They struck two civilian targets, one military target, and used 4 civilian aircraft. In some ways, I think it is great that New Yorkers will be able to decide their fates. The trial will be open for all the world to see how American justice is carried out. Military courts have a veil of secrecy to them, but you're right, those tend to move along faster. It's a gutsy decision by AG Holder, and this is will set precedent for future cases. I hope it is the right call.

Any suggestions? I prefer non-smoking, relaxed atmosphere, and a good place to watch a game on TV. And no cover charge! But, I'll try anything once. Well, almost anything, but that's another discussion for another time. Too bad Mac's is closed, and Spotlight Saloon is ok I guess, but I want to try something new. THANKS!

Born in Los Angeles County, CA. Moved here from Tacoma, WA in 2007. Odds are that I will be moving away from here eventually, possibly sooner rather than later.

He should hit every staffing agency on this side of Atlanta, and tell them that he'll take anything. When I first signed on with a staffing agency here two years ago, the first call was a job holding a sign for an open house. Ok, I didn't take it then, but I might now! He should also check out every restaurant in PC to see if they need any busboy help. Also have him check out Ryla Teleservices, but he'll need some way to get to get to Kennesaw. Ryla pays $10 an hour. Good luck to him and you LGM. -

It is very admirable on his part to publicly address his disease. That takes a lot of guts and I hope he can recover some sense of purpose and balance in his life. -

I think there is a little button near the power button that you press to sync the console to the controller.

CT, that was beautifully written. Thank you for your service and Semper Fi! Carry on (gotta love R. Lee Ermey). -

The day I don't tear up at a military memorial roll-call, is the day I know my soul is lost.
-
Watching. This memorial will be an extremely difficult one.

Classic "Straw Man" fallacy. I am humbled at your wisdom.

Nice. Very funny...and yet sad at the same time.

This is why I don't miss serving (has been 6 years, but you never know when I might have to return to it, with the economy and all). I tip great, and if I can't afford to tip well, I don't go.

I switched over to GA Tech and Wake Forest. Assuming they make the PAT, Wake just tied the score at 24, with 4:27 to go in the 4th.

I'm looking for something to do...I don't feel like going to the Spotlight Saloon, and Mac's is closed, so my two semi-haunts are no go's. Any suggestions? Cheap is best.

...DallasRed, JLH, Hoshi, LGM, Mommy2Two, Piedmont68, and the dude who hosts PCom news (can't recall his screen name). And due to the mystery...I'd like to meet kasteroil. And Anonymoose, if he ever comes back (I'm sure he's still here). I've met Subby, WordsThatApply, GeeTee, Fluffy, Mr. C. Mark Willix, and I've seen Pubby, but didn't get a chance to introduce myself. I've had nothing but great experiences with commerce members too.

GIANT CRACK IN AFRICA WILL CREATE A NEW OCEAN...

Wouldn't that be nice? Maybe my old hometown can get ocean front property... -
A quick google search came up with http://www.meetup.com/Paulding-County-Paradise-Singles/. Can't vouch for the 'quality' of this singles group. Employment? Good luck. Not much in this county with the exception of retail, local government, and education, and the latter two are maxed out. The only clerical you'll find for decent wages is in Atlanta, and you'll spend 2 hours a day minimum in your car to get there. Try temp agencies in Lithia Springs and Douglasville, and maybe you'll come up with something.
