  1. Ryla just annouced that they're going to be hiring 1,500 temporary workers. http://www.ajc.com/business/kennesaw-based...ter-166208.html www.Ryla.com
  2. Got me there Just saying that fresh blood seems hard to come by in our local governments...
  3. Good job to the both of you. I hope the kid learns a lesson from this...better than a lesson learned by wrapping their car around a telephone pole.
  4. Wish there was more out there for you. I'm in the same boat. Try Tanner, UHC, Medtronic, and even USAJOBS for the positions that you're looking for. Aerotek Staffing apparently owns www.thingamajob.com, and they have lots of openings with extreme variety around the nation. Spherion had some general labor positions out of their Lithia Springs office, but I haven't heard back from my contact down there in a while, so... The GA DOL loves referring people to Ryla as well. They pay $10 an hour.
  5. Cool, thanks for the tip. I'm trying to lose weight so I can get back in the service one way or another, but a treat every once in a while won't hurt, right?
  6. The first person to get me an interview has a steak dinner waiting for them on me, with all the fixings! All I need is to get my foot in the door...I'll take care of the rest.
  7. Isn't Blake one of the few in county government that doesn't have kin somewhere in the county?
  8. I'm trying SO hard to get in with Lockheed. I check their job postings multiple times a week, and I've applied for positions both in Georgia and elsewhere. Every one I know who works with LM or works with them raves about how great a company they are to work for. I just need to get my foot in the door. A 4.0 GPA should be worth something, right???
  9. I'm pretty sure Coots Lake is, not sure about the one on Macland. I'm looking for a fishing hole too...and it can be very rural. In fact, that's what I'd prefer!
  10. I'm with you. My cell phone service has become so sketchy now that email and text are the way to go. There are less things "lost in translation" as well.
  11. I see your fish stabbing, and raise you pet fish "eating"... http://abclocal.go.com/wtvd/story?section=...article-7040282 I'm sure its been posted before...meh.
  12. That ad campaign was genius. I actually had the airplane one happen to me, but the woman had to be pushing 3 bills. Not pleasant. I'd offered to switch seats on the plane, but she had to have the window.
  13. Ironically, racism doesn't discriminate by race. Stupid people come in red, yellow, black, or white.
  14. TV weatherman? Where do I sign up? I'm sure his pitch was "Hire me for a week, its for a book and you'll get good publicity". I'm sure it'll be a good book too, but depressing for those of us who haven't gotten a whiff of a job in months.
  15. I don't fill the bill for this gig, but thank you for posting. I wish all business owners or hiring managers that frequent PCom would do the same. Good on ya!
  16. You're welcome. How come I never hear about calls for extras until the opportunity has passed?!?
  17. I saw that its supposed to be released in December, but that date may not stand. It has premiered at the Toronto film festival. http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117941063...=1&nid=2577 http://www.fluge.com/get-low-movie.html
  18. The balloon crossed over two interstates and was bumping along at about 35 mph...insane. http://www.denverpost.com/ci_13568863
