We were there about 2 1/2 hours but DD said the same thing - not nearly as many vendors or people as in the past. My grandson was dressed up like a skunk and he was a hit with everyone! People kept asking to take his picture and for us to stop so they could see him - we all had a really good time - even though I ended up with a fender bender in the parking lot....

There was a post from Oct 21st but I couldn't get the link to work, so here are the specifics: It is from 2pm - 7pm this Saturday and it is FREE. Last year there was a hay ride and some other things that charged a small fee, but trick or treating for the kids is free. Be sure to wear your costumes. They also will have a costume contest at the stage. The ages/times will be posted at the stage. Make sure you have a sturdy bag to hold all the candy and goodies! NOTE: In another post later on the 21st they said that there will not be a costume contest - just the pa

This dad must have been watching the news and got the idea from the boxer/fighter who locked the kids outside in the rain "because they were bothering him"....

Hubby only slightly moved into the lane and apparently the cop agreed or he wouldn't have deliberately pulled in front of the guy and forced him to wait until everyone in the procession passed.... It may not be a law but is common courtesy.....

We always stop to pay our respects. When my Grandfather passed away, a car tried to pass us on the right hand turn lane - my hubby moved slightly into the lane to block him and when we passed, the cop pulled in front of him and made the guy wait until the last car passed. We didn't have any trouble with my Grandmother's procession but with my Mom we would have had to go through 2 different counties and so we chose not to have the procession but had her lie in state at the church for 1 hour before the service. Again, us too! But you are right - it amazes me at the number o

I am claustrophobic and have had one successful closed MRI and one unsuccessful closed MRI. My advice is to close your eyes before you go in and do not open them until they bring you out. Someone told me to do that and it did help although like someone else said - the meds tonight will only help you sleep tonight - they will not help you during the procedure tomorrow. Good luck! I will be praying that your MRI is successful and that the results are good!

How sad - so young! Prayers of comfort for her family. -
WOW - I am so glad all of your children safely came through the H1N1 flu and that you didn't catch it. My 8mo old grandson has an older brother and sister - one in Cobb schools and one in Paulding. We are terrified that they are going to catch it and then bring in over to him.

Prayers said for you and your daughter.

Huh? My DH manages a bank and he works many days from open to close - 8:00am to at least 6:30-6:45pm. We thought he would get those great "bankers hours" too, but haven't seen them yet.

You know, I just finished reading an article on WebMD about the abuse of prescription drugs and how easily they are abused. Not that I am saying this is the case here - it just reminded me of that article.... -

I am so sorry for your loss, Stardustn but hope that you find peace and comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering.

I completed an in-store satisfaction survey at Walmart several, several years ago and won a $300.00 gift card. You never know - "it could happen...."
