If your house is going up for auction, maybe you could just rent it from the new "owner" until you find something else....just a thought/suggestion.

I'm not taking up for all parents but sometimes you just have no idea. I once had several teens sitting in my front yard - on my swing just talking. I received a phone call from a lady who said that someone thought her son was at my house. I told her no but that I would go outside to check - she held on and I asked them - they each gave me their name and I told her that he wasn't there. WELL......he actually was - he just gave me a fake name and since there were no "looks" or "snickers" between the kids, I just took them at their word. This guy wasn't actually a runaway though, he just wa

I am so sorry - I honestly know how that feels - as do many others here on pcom - I will continue to pray for you.

Is this the Russell Jones that attended Paulding Baptist Church? If so, we attended at the same time. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Could someone PM me with what happened? We had lost touch after leaving PBC.

I've never been there - we usually go up around Blue Ridge or on into North Carolina. Have a great time! -
Mine went from $187 to $303 and now to $384! I think I'm going to close down my house and move into my camper at a campground somewhere.....

As someone who just went through this same decision within the past month, I completely understand and respect your decision. I do not know anyone in the family (that I am aware of) but will pray for peace and comfort for the entire family nonetheless.

I thought that's what people were practicing to do on Dabbs Bridge Road....... -
Could you have diabetes? I do and I often have the same symptoms.......

There is a place in Acworth also - if you go out Dabbs Bridge Road, cross 41 to Third Army. Go to the end of the road and turn right. Go across the lake and it is on your left after you pass the City Limit sign but before the Hwy 92 overpass.

WOW - there are so many posts on here with good advice - and so varied. I just lost my Mom on July 6th after battling lung cancer for the past 26months. Unlike your situation but definitely like someone else on here, my Mom was my best friend. She too was afraid of being over-medicated on morphine but wanted to die at home. We fought her doctor and took her home under hospice care. The majority of the people in hospice are AWESOME and truly care about the patients and their families. I was like Snikerfitz - I spent most every day with my Mom and didn't come home at all from Friday until

Oh GT - I hope you baby will be OK. Unfortunately, we are one of those families that just can't say NO and always end up with too many animals and I don't always have the money to buy the various sizes of Frontline/Revolution, etc that we need. I used a Hartz flea treatment on a chihuahua that we rescued from Paulding Co Animal Shelter and she suffered for 2 months before passing away. She foamed at the mouth, staggered as though she had suffered a stroke, gasped for breath as though she couldn't breathe. It was TERRIBLE. The first vet I took her too said she probably had gotten into some

Hi, Anita I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. Prayers said for comfort for all her family and friends.

OMG - how sad! I agree with the police - she should be able to feel safe and secure at home with her own family but if that is their attitude/beliefs, then I think she will find more comfort in state custody. I hope the 4 boys are punished accordingly......and not given a slap on the wrist.

WE WON! UPDATE.... Tomorrow is the big day...

My husband ruptured a disc in his back while on the job and that is exactly what the WC adjuster told him - that the majority of people who are on WC fake the injury and adjust their lifestyles down accordingly. Of course, they didn't tell us this until after we secured an attorney who demanded that they allow him to have several tests performed. Then she couldn't call us fast enough to apologize for delaying his treatment, yada, yada, yada. Luckily, he never went on SSI but was able to return to work although in a totally different profession. It is sad that there are those who ruin i -

CONGRATULATIONS! My daughter was told that she most likely would never be able to get pregnant. Imagine our surprise when she became pregnant and all of our our paranoia (sp?) for the first three months. Try to relax and enjoy the pregnancy! The miscarriage happened for a reason and you quickly got pregnant for another reason. Keep us posted....

I LOVE IT! Of course, my children are grown but my DD has a 5month old and 2 step children and I think this is a terrific suggestion.

I worked for Chad Plumley at one time and he is great; also my DH used Perotta for a child issue and we were very pleased with his services and the outcome. Good luck!
