I'm not taking up for all parents but sometimes you just have no idea. I once had several teens sitting in my front yard - on my swing just talking. As someone who just went through this same decision within the past month, I completely understand and respect your decision. I do not know anyone in the family (that I am aware of) but will pray for peace and comfort for the entire family nonetheless.

WOW - there are so many posts on here with good advice - and so varied. I just lost my Mom on July 6th after battling lung cancer for the past 26months. CONGRATULATIONS! My daughter was told that she most likely would never be able to get pregnant. Imagine our surprise when she became pregnant and all of our our paranoia (sp?) for the first three months. Try to relax and enjoy the pregnancy! The miscarriage happened for a reason and you quickly got pregnant for another reason. Keep us posted....

I LOVE IT! Of course, my children are grown but my DD has a 5month old and 2 step children and I think this is a terrific suggestion.
