Corn hole is actually a really fun game. It started in Ohio and is working it's way around the country. My DH played for the first time back in September and liked it so much he wants to build his own corn hole board. It's a great game to play outside and can get very intense, even though it's a corn filled bag that is tossed through a hole in a wooden board. Sounds "corny", I know.

Same here, which is why I am not willing to try the LED's and they are INSANELY expensive. -
My FIL was forced to give up his son in 1966ish. He married the babies mother and right after he was born, he was given up for adoption. My FIL did not want to and his parents wanted to adopt the baby boy but were not allowed. FIL and the mother divorced right after, I've been told the marriage was annulled. I guess all of this was due to the time, the 60's and fathers didn't have many rights to their children. Anyway, it was up to the Mother and she did it at the persuasion of her parents and grandparents. To my understanding, FIL's parents tried to keep up with the baby and his adoptive pare

I got a message on my cell phone but not a phone call. How do I set it up to call my home? That could actually be a good thing, especially if a tornado is spotted late at night and we are all sleeping. Pain in the butt I know to get late night calls, but it could save a life. I freak out if my house phone rings after 10pm, no one ever calls that late unless it's an emergency.

Hoping and praying that today goes well for your little man and you. When my DS was 5 he had tubes put in because of fluid build up. Prior to the surgery he had about a 60% hearing loss, but we were told straight away that it was temporary. He could not pronounce words correctly and six months later he was speaking perfectly normal. I'm just guessing here and you certainly would know better since you have been through all of this, but does some of the issues that keep coming up with Grayson have to do with the fact that he isn't talking yet? And the fact that he can't verbally respond to what

My kitchen chairs were made by Amish and they are VERY well made. Also, of solid oak.

Sorry to hear that someone rummaged through your things and stole from you. Nothing seems safe these days, but it is funny that they took mixed gas. I'm assuming they put it in their car and I don't know what that will do to an engine, but it can't be good. Hehe they got what they deserved.

$100 a week for a tank of gas
raclay replied to Thoughts from the Evil Galaxy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It takes $70 -$75 to fill up my truck too and it lasts about a week. The thing that has me concerned in addition the keeping my vehicle filled, is what will happen if the gas price hits $7, will any of us be able to cool our homes this summer? Food prices will skyrocket along with everything else we buy. Dang. -
My thoughts are with you and your family, two legged and four legged.

My DD stayed home from school yesterday due to her allergies. She coughed off and on all night, that affected her sleep and then after she showered and ate breakfast, I noticed around her eyes they were quite red. So I let her stay home and she went back to bed. After she got some much needed sleep, thanks to Sudafed, she looked and felt much better. She slept good last night after taking a Benadryl. It's time to go wake her up, hopefully she will be better today. Hopefully, your kiddo will be better this morning and I second the children's Claritin, that stuff works well. Triaminic also w

While the incident regarding Newton, TPing and putting the jersey on the statue is rivalry, but does not cause physical harm to living things or humans. Sure it was very distasteful to do it so soon after Bear's death. This guy who has done irreparable to these trees did go too far and should pay for his crime. I hate to hear that these very old trees will die over football, but I really hope it doesn't cause any real damage to the water supply. The report said it's likely that it won't, but it could have and this man needs to be punished to fullest extent the law allows for his crime. RIP lov

Congratulations, it is an accomplishment that you have every right to be proud of and brag about for a moment. Maybe you can offer some more tips for those of us who are trying to live the frugal way of life. My hubby and I hope to have our mortgage paid off in 12 years, sooner if possible. That's the goal anyway.

Is the app just for Iphone or will it work for those with Android too?

I agree, but seriously doubt the attackers will ever receive any punishment at all. In fact, they will probably be allowed to wear their crime like a badge of honor.
