We had Bojangles last week and thought it was very good. We will certainly go back. Oh, we were not crazy about their dirty rice but liked everything else.

Don't wax your floors either, it'll leave you with a sore booty. I did that once and then DH smarted off to me and I, being all big and bad, ran toward him in my socks. I slipped, fell and slid right between his legs. We laughed so hard, we forgot all about his smart arse comment.

It's my understanding that Target is hiring. My DS works there and says they are, but I think it is mostly part time positions. It never hurts to try.

Awe they are so sweet. It is amazing how quickly they grow. We got a Boston Terrier the day after Thanksgiving and he is growing like a weed. Ozzy was 4lbs when we got him and last weeks vet visit he was 10 1/4 lbs.

Pedi Paws is a complete waste of money. A Dremel works better or a pair of dog nail clippers.

My DS graduated in '09, he is in college now and works at Target. He still isn't sure of his major, but at least he's in college and hopefully will figure out what he wants to do. DD will graduate in 2017 and she is interested in Marine Biology. We'll see, she has several years to go and might change her mind, but she has talked about this for about 5 years now.

I have never seen one of these, but a friend of mine had trouble sleeping last night due to her neighbor letting their dog bark all night. Any way, another friend suggested that she get one of those little bird houses that emits a high pitch that annoys the dog and stops the barking. This probably wouldn't help in the front yard, but it might in the backyard. Has anyone ever seen these little bird houses that do this?

I swear I was just thinking that. I have a friend who calls the garden hose a hose pipe. That one took me a minute to figure out when I first heard it. I love her to death, my little Brit friend. She's an awesome friend.

I am glad you had the choice to leave, if I would have had it, believe me I would have. You are fortunate to not have been exposed to that kind of fear. Like I said though, I refuse to let some low life criminal make me fearful of ever setting foot in a large public place again. My family and I still go to that mall heck I even go by myself, I don't feel unsafe, but it is important to note that I am always more observant of my surroundings now than before. That isn't fool proof, but it does help.

Where in the mall were you? I was locked in the Lane Bryant store with about 10 or so other people. My friend and I had just left the food court. went down the escalator and had walked in the LB to look at something when we heard the gun fire. Very frightening, but my friend and I went back the next day, wasn't going to let some low life scare us into being afraid of going again.

Ya know, I don't necessarily condone taking the law into one's own hands, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I'm glad the 4 wheeler was recovered and the no good stinkin' thieves got what they had coming and hopefully a little time in the pokey too.

I saw a sign today that the Waffle House on Ridge Road is now taking applications if anyone is interested.

After reading this topic, I just had to quiz my DD, she's 11, about walking, skating or going onto "frozen"ponds in general. She informed me that she" is well aware of the dangers and besides we live in Georgia Mom, ponds never freeze enough to be safe". Woohoo she's getting it!!!
