Baby Shot in his Stroller---WTH? is Wrong with People?
raclay replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I wonder if this could have something to do with her older son being killed. I haven't read anything about it being gang related, just that he was the aggressor in a fight that ultimately resulted in his own demise. Really, I don't see how, but I do not understand how gangs actually work. Just a thought. -

Hopefully, the investigators will do everything they can to find out what really happened. They should test the boys for GSR, as well as the mother. Something does seem off about this story and I really hope a very thorough investigation will be done before anyone is burned at the stake. It's also possible that police are going through the motions of an investigation all the while keeping the mother as a primary suspect and waiting for her to cave or slip up. Either way, one innocent life is gone. Sad. -
Congratulations!

That's over $200. difference. WOW! Good for you, I just don't see the appeal of those front load washers anymore. I used to want one one but after all the stories I've heard and having friends who are English and grew up using them and their reviews of them, nope, not for me. Hopefully, that Speed Queen will last you a looooong time. My Maytag is 14 years old and still going strong, knock on wood.

My DS was five days late and was delivered naturally. My DD was ten days late, I was induced and delivered without a C-section. I did have the epidural with DD, however.

I remember those. My step Mom let me save some of hers one time so that I could get that Snoopy snow cone maker. We went to the store, picked it up and it was awesome, at least to an eight year old. I hope you can find some for your mother, they really do bring back memories, it's the little things. I remember always getting them from Piggly Wiggly.

Just for us Dinner Thread - More adventuresome fare

Yep. Now I would like to try duck again. The one I had, and it was years ago, I remember it being very dry. So it was probably over cooked. -

I've had duck once and did not care for it, but it may have been the cook and maybe I should give a try again. One meat that I honestly cannot stand to put in my mouth is lamb. I've had it multiple times, made by several different people, even a professional chef friend and it is just nasty. It tastes like dirty hair smells, to me anyway. -
VERY good information, Media Man. Thank you.

Sometimes they leave those subtle messages just to let us know they are still watching over their loved ones. Just take it for what it is, a gift and a reminder. Now I don't know what your beliefs are, but that is what I believe, some things just don't happen by mere coincidence.

I just came back from Hiram and it is pretty smokey there too. I live off Ridge Rd and it didn't seem as bad here as it was in Hiram, maybe light wind is pushing it in that direction, just never could find a source. Hopefully it is a controlled burn, like someone else said. It's probably a good time to do one since we have had so much rain and it's not too breezy today.

Loks like a Llama to me, just laying down.

Autism...what I need to know, and who can tell me?
raclay replied to bvrat5199's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I don't know anyone with Autism, but you have gotten some very good advice from others on here. With that said, you stated in your opening post that you are very pissed off right now about this and you should be. Listen to your gut, you know your child better than anyone else and certainly better than any doctor that sees him every now and then. He's 21 months old, he will talk when he's ready. My 22 yo son didn't really start talking until around 2 years and by the time he was almost six, he couldn't pronounce his words very well. I took him to an audiologist, his hearing was compromised due -
When I said I think the house is gaudy, I also meant to say that the particular style and design of the home is very personalized. That is a lot of money to ask for a home when, more than likely, the new owner will have to spend quite a chuck of change to get it their liking. Before anyone says, if they can afford that much then they can afford to redecorate, well yeah maybe, but why should they? Unless another wealthy middle eastern person is interested, then it might be exactly what they like. FTR, I don't like country style, roosters and chickens either, DGITW.

Congratulations to 5th grader. It really is an accomplishment. My DH and DD are both black belts in Tae Kwon Do and it takes time, dedication, lots of practice and truly is something to be proud of since it is something no one can do FOR you, you HAVE to do it for YOURSELF. Way to go 5th grader!!!!

I understand the state has rules, but the meat could have been tested. That's a lot if meat gone to waste that could have fed many hungry people. However, I don not know if the health inspectors have any sort of test kit on hand that can be used to immediately check the meat for any food borne bacteria or virus. I also understand it's better to destroy questionable meat for the sake of safety. So maybe they did what was best.

No wonder it has been on the market for so long, it's gaudy.

Tabby, I am so happy for you and your family. It's wonderful that he is alive and okay. Sending you big HUGS!

WooHoo for her. I hope she will really put most of it away rather than buying homes for her children. If that's the case she'll blow through that in a minute.

Don't forget that she had a nine month old and postpartum depression can last for at least a year or more after giving birth. Now add to that the problems she already had going on. She was very troubled. I believe suicide is very selfish, however, when someone is so far gone mentally, it's not always their fault, but rather the disease.

I shared this on my FB, hopefully it is found.

I used to use Grease Lightning. The Iron Out works well too and I never tried Murpheys Oil Soap, sounds good though. It might help too, if you can hang them in the sun after washing with one of the cleaners, just do it when you can have time to leave them out all day in the sunlight. My family is in to martial arts and while their uniforms don't get nasty like baseball or football pants, they will yellow. So for that I soak them in Oxy Clean over night and they are ONLY washed in Oxy Clean, never laundry detergent or fabric softener. The softener will leave residue that will attract dirt, BTW.

Fifi lost her group and now I have no reason to watch anymore. I have been following Fifi for a year now and she is quite an impressive Doberman and even more so that she is shown by her owner/handler. It doesn't happen too very often to an owner/handler do so well. But, Fifi is young and has many shows ahead of her. Congrats to the Portuguese Water dog and I hope he and his handler do well.

As far as I know only sodas, tea, coffee and water are refilled. In some places you only get ONE soda refill.
