He's going to claim to be whatever as long as it benefits him.

If most folks are honest, they will admit that they have used that word at least once in their life. I have and so has everyone in my entire family, however, most of us choose not to use it anymore. I believe I'm above that sort of nonsense and it would compromise my morals and values to continue to act or speak in such a manner. I agree with Feelip, when black people stop using it only then will they have the right to ask others to stop.

Scott here since we are on septic. I buy the Scott Extra soft, it's soft enough and it's a one ply TP.

Exactly, that kind of detail can't be appreciated from the ground level anyway, only by air. I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I don't jet around town in a helicopter or plane.

Dr. Wilson in Marietta is fantastic. He's just off Whitlock and past the Kroger where we used to work and in the shopping center across the street from McDonald's.

This is so wonderful. My son played against EP while playing for Hiram. I hope he has a fantastic debut tonight and really wish him the very best. Hopefully, I will be able to be home to watch.

Well, that's a clever idea. I used to be able to rent them from a bakery when I lived in Savannah, but I doubt anyone does that now. All I had to do was leave a deposit and a small rental fee, it was enough to cover the pan f I didn't return it, of course I returned it.

Wow, I have never understood why some people do that kind of thing. Asshats.

We keep ours in a large tote, Rubbermaid type, but then we don't have a whole bunch of pool toys.. When pool season is over, we put it all up in the attic. Our goggles are always hung up on the deck to dry while the pool is used then to the tote for winter storage. Sometimes we leave the noodles in the pool because of their size, if we leave them out in the open, then my dogs have a field day and make a HUGE mess in the backyard. Some of those pool things are very expensive, so I like to try to keep it in good shape for as long as possible. Our Boston Terrier has learned that he LOVES the pool

Where would be a great place to go for a few days?

Where ever you go, Lucky, I hope you get the time and peace and quiet you are looking for. I love Savannah, it's my hometown, well Pooler actually. -
I really don't like snakes, but those are good ones to have around. Kudos to you for not killing it. By the way, I have no idea how it got there, other than like you said, it was the wind.

Does it depend on the county? I have had to call AC in the past for a wild animal and they instruct me to call DNR. Now this was probably ten years ago, but that's what I was told by Paulding County AC.

I apologize when I'm wrong, which is quite often. I even know when to bite my tongue, for example, last week this guy was telling me about how bad the humidity was and that we needed rain to dry things up. I was dumbfounded and asked him how will rain "dry" things up? He simply said, "Oh, that's how it works, when we don't have rain the humidity level is really high and when we get rain the humidity drops". I bit my tongue, no point in arguing. See, I would have been wrong to start an argument, so I didn't and therefore no need to say I'm sorry. -
Leave it in the cart or lift it for them to scan. I never place heavy and bulk items on the belt. It's also likely that the cashiers might appreciate a quick walk around the register to scan, after all they are stuck standing in one place for hours at a time.

To me, it's simply saying that they thought of their guests first and wanted to take away any feeling of obligation to bring something for the birthday person. I also take it to mean that if someone wants to bring something they can. As another poster said, it's customary to take a gift and your friend just noted that it is not necessary. Your other friend is just trying to read too much into the invite.

Blondie, does anyone from parks and rec feed the ducks at all? Or, are these ducks solely dependent on park patrons to feed them? If it's the latter, then that is quite sad. Some years ago when my son was playing rec ball in Cobb, we would frequently have games at Wildhorse Park. I g=found out from someone that parks and rec didn't keep them fed, so I started keeping a 50# bag of scratch in my truck so DD could feed them while DS had a game. Sounds like I might need to get some more for the Paulding ducks, maybe.

Glad they caught her. She put her children and her unborn child at risk. smh -
mojo, Mike is the guy who installed the Linex on my current truck. Let me say, it looks fabulous, it looks like a factory done job.

I've had both. The Rhino was on my 98 GMC Sierra, it started peeling and I found out from the formula from that time period was flawed. Hiram Rhino replaced it free of charge since it carried a lifetime warranty. It did fade, but it is quite slip resistant. My new truck, we have Linex in it and it is harder, has texture, but isn't quite as slip resistant as the the Rhino was. Both spray in will fade unless they are treated or covered, we have a tonneau cover on our truck now so there won't be any fading. DH and I both like the Linex better, but they are both good products. Also, I noticed

If you ask me it's ice cream sandwich most definitely. I can eat all the ics, but I only eat the red jelly beans. Seriously, I had no clue you were talking about computers until I opened this thread. I hope your grandson loves his new laptop.

I just looked up those fiberglass pools, wish I had known about those back when we got our above ground. Those look very nice.
-
If you are going to start with an above ground pool, don't go with a salt system. Salt water and metal makes for a rusty mess. Been there done that. If you go with the in ground, then a salt system is a great way to go.

Sounds like you two had fun and made some fun memories. "A" loves going fishing, but she really only gets to do it when we are in Florida. She and R will get up at the crack of dawn and go down to the inlet, fish and look for manatees.

Where did you go fishing and was that little man's first time?
