  1. Call the post office and ask the postmaster if the kids balls sold at the Dollar store,Walmart and places like that, are suitable for shipping like the websites advertise. If so, then purchase one and mail it. I think it's a neat idea.

    BLONDIE!

If you do that with yours, please video it, that would be so cute and sure to "quack me up".

    BLONDIE!

My link This is cute. I thought you would like it. Hopefully the link will work.
  4. There is a preview feature, just to the right of each topic. It looks like a piece of notebook paper with an arrow on it.
  5. Buick has really come alive lately. They are making cars more appealing to the younger crowd. They are very nice cars, a friend just bought one, and it's luxury in a sporty package with a reasonable price tag to boot.
  6. Me too. That's why I posted it here.
  7. Accident at Ridge and Denying rd. Fire and police just arrived.
  8. A calling post went out yesterday stating that IF schools are closed, parents would be notified via another calling post and information would be available on the website. www.paulding.k12.ga.us
  9. I've heard you can use a handheld can opener on those packages. Now, I have not tried it yet, but it's something to try and see if it actually works. I mean they are strong and sturdy enough to open metal cans, so plastic shouldn't be a problem.
  10. Is that the new Corvette Stingray? That's a sweet car!
  11. I second Barb the Cake Lady. Her work is amazing and her cakes are absolutely delicious. At the very least set up an appointment to meet with her and try her cakes.
  12. Two stops for gas, slept on the side of the road and had a minor car accident? I don't think she needs to drive, seriously.
  13. That's good to know. I have never rented from Redbox, but have wondered about having an issue like yours. Good PSA, Countrychic.
  14. Last September the water heater in my rental home exploded and left black soot all over the laundry room. I have no clue what caused it, but the water heater was 32 years old and original to the house. It made a huge mess, but I never knew about until my yard guy let me know there was an old one in the front yard. I asked the tenant about it and he had already replaced it with a new one, he's a plumber. He gave me no explanation about how it happened or about the mess it left. I found the mess after they skipped out, they never bothered to clean it up. He did bother to leave a basketball sized
  15. I had one up until about 2 years ago, it sat tin the attic. I finally tossed it out. It worked, but no one I know was willing to take it or even want to watch it and I doubt it was cable ready, after all it was nearly thirty years old. TV tax is stupid, BTW.
  16. Love the story and he does look quite a bit like a lion at first glance.
  17. My MIL smokes one, but I don't know the brand. She bought it a couple years ago from a vendor in Florida where she lives. She still uses a cartridge with a small amount of nicotine. I took a puff of it one time and that thing was NASTY!! They do make cartridges with various flavors such as, chocolate, Dr Pepper, Diet Coke and so on. Personally, I don't think I would want to smoke my Coca-Cola.
  18. Chicken and Rice casserole, just use cream of chicken instead of mushroom. Enchiladas, layered like a lasagna instead of rolled. Much easier and they freeze well.
  19. My thoughts exactly.Someone is doing a nice thing for them and they get all picky.
  20. I've read that Comcast will place traps on their lines to prevent former customers from using the coaxial cable to receive the free stations. I guess they are in the right to do so, it is their lines that are being used. Hopefully, by the end of this week I will have gotten everything I need to make the switch, feeling pretty confident about this now.
  21. Bill Carruth is a speed trap, so I set my cruise control on it when I can. Fortunately, I don't drive that stretch too often.
  22. This is a great idea and I'm willing to help out. Once we find out what the circumstances are, such as if he's going to be in the hospital for awhile, out of work after that for a bit, maybe some of us could set it up to make meals over that period of time and divide up who takes what and when. If the family is willing.
  23. I doubt he/she made up a story, but things like that happen everywhere and that doesn't make Hiram an unsafe place to live, shop or visit. I shop in Douglasville, but I don't go there alone at night. I was in the mall during the shooting there in 2007, it didn't stop me from going back to the mall.
