Small holes, like those a woodpecker would put in a tree. The thought makes my skin crawl. The smell of ketchup. Gross!

My husband eats at Mary Mac's Tea Room at LEAST twice a month. He's been working downtown for awhile now and that is his favorite place for lunch. He and his co workers go out for lunch only on Fridays. I have never been, but my DH needs to take me. It's not fine dining, but I also want to try Loca Luna Tapas Bar.

Lifesmiles, there is one in Dallas also.

I can't say for certain about the shutters being covered, but if they are strictly decorative, just replace them yourself. They really aren't that expensive, probably less than your deductible, and may help prevent your premiums from going up even more. We replaced ten shutters on our rental property with decorative vinyl ones from Lowes two years ago, and I believe they were under $400. That sounds like a lot, but maybe you could do a few at a time, if cost is an issue. The best answer, however, is to contact your agent and find out for sure. I'm curious what he/she will say, so will you le

We have been talking about going there. It must be good, the parking lot was slam packed last night.

I almost forgot Blondie. We used to work together at Kroger. She is a very kind, very hard working, smart and creative person. She is also very clean and organized, based on the way she maintained her department at the K store. She told me back then that she wanted to write a book, Blondie, have you started it yet?

I've only seen Pubby a couple of times. Lowrider, I saw her and her grandson at WM. Georgia Tornado is on her way to becoming the hottest chick in Paulding county, she works out ALOT and she has a really cool hairstyle. Stradial lives in my neighborhood, but I've yet to meet him or even see him outside, he must be in hiding. lol I met Palmtreesrock, we bought some plants from him, super nice guy. There are a couple of people on here that I'm good friends with, but they never post. Of course there is Subby, he is an amazing pianist and has also worked on my DH's chainsaw. Really nice g

I wondered the same thing. -
If you use Google maps, for example, and look at the street view, you will see houses and businesses. They use cars with cameras strapped to them to photograph or video the whole area. Look it up, those are some crazy looking cars. Maybe this is what was going on. My link Hopefully the link will work.

I have the yellow Dyson and I like it, but it has draw backs just like they all do. I also have a Kirby, a Hoover and a Eureka super broom. The latter is great for the hard floors, my house is all tile except the bedrooms. Of all my vacuums, the Kirby is my favorite, but it lacks on board attachments. The Dyson has them but there is so much suction that the hose is constantly being drawn back to machine, it drives me nuts when I try to use it. The Hoover is crap and the Eureka is awesome for daily floor cleaning and sucks up everything. I used to have a Shark, two actually, and HATE them. They

Yes, it does. My DS actually played his freshman and sophomore years, the latter year he couldn't try out due to a broken wrist. He played rec ball both years. -

I believe Sports A Rama is now closed. Not sure of someone else took it over and it is still the same sort of place. -

See if he is willing to play rec ball. My DS didn't make it his freshman year and went back to his rec ball team. That year they won their Division and the State Championship then went to Tampa Fl for the Southern Regional Tournament. They lost at that level, but they accomplished something to be very proud of that year. If it is still there, the sign would be hanging on the Pony fence at Powder Springs Park. Sorry to hear your DS didn't make the team. Tell him to keep his chin up, there are still plenty of opportunities out there to play ball. -
That's what I would like to know as well.

Someone stated earlier that it is probably 12 inches prior to baking. It's no different when you go out to a restaurant and order a 12 oz steak, after it's cooked, it will weigh less. Period. When we buy seafood, for example, from the grocery and ask for a pound of shrimp and then want it steamed, that shrimp is weighed before cooking but after, it weighs less. Some people really need to get a life and worry about things that are really important. I guess restaurants will start to post signs or include some wording on the menu that weights/sizes are approximate and are weighed prior to cooki

I get flashed ALOT, but my high beams are not on, my low beams are just very bright. I drive a 2011 Silverado and DH has a 2010 Silverado and he gets the same thing from other drivers. My guess is that GM has made the lights much brighter than before. Now those bluish lights drive me nuts and hurt my eyes, even though I know the driver only has the low beams on. Oh and I only use the fog lights when it's foggy out. Other folks drive around with those on and it's almost as bad as driving with the high beams on.

Needs some advice! I poked myself in the eye while putting mascara .
raclay replied to Spunkywman's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Try rinsing it with saline solution, find it with the contact solutions in the stores. If that doesn't work, see a, Ophthalmologist because you could have scratched your cornea and may need to have it stained to check the severity of damage. He/she may need to prescribe some eye drops for you as well, especially if you are having discomfort and if the eye is now infected. You may want to also toss out that tube of mascara or at least clean the wand thoroughly and allow it to dry. Hope your eye feels better, but try some saline first and then see you Dr. if need be. -
Let us know of the condition when it gets to the recipient.

Oh, honey, no need to say your sorry. I raved about it on here too, until we realized what it did to our pool. They really are great systems, just not to the metal parts. We buy from Brown's, they installed our pool, and sometimes I feel like I'm getting more than I need, but I trust them since my pool sparkles with their recommendations. I would love to try the BBB method, maybe this year we will give a go. If it doesn't work for us, we still have the Pool Frog to fall back on.

DO NOT go with a salt system or mineral springs or any system that uses salt. We have an above ground and started with a Mineral Springs system and it was FABULOUS, UNTIL it rusted the metal things that hold the liner in place and also rusted the walls of the pool due to splashing. Salt and metal don't mix well and after spending over $1k to fix our pool, we went with another system, the Pool Frog. It is a system that uses chlorine, but it uses half the amount of the traditional way. It's also the lazy persons way to treat the pool, change the cartridge each month when it's empty with a new on
