  1. Is this the house where the lights will be off and you just walk into the house through the back door?
  2. Thanks! I thought it might be G&C, but there wasn't anything specific on the site. I will also check out Criterian!
  3. Clark Howard mentioned a place yesterday, but I missed where he said. I checked his archives and there wasn't a place mentioned - just had his gold calculator. Anyway, I have a few old necklaces that I was thinking of selling, but I don't know where the best place to take it is. Ideas? Thanks~
  4. Thank you for posting the link. I will pass the information on to my mother tomorrow. Prayers sent for the family.
  5. My parents came up on this accident (near the school on Mulberry rock - Sunday afternoon). My mother was worried about the person that had to be life-flighted out of there. She asked me if I had heard anything about it - but if someone posted anything on it - I can't find the thread. Thanks!
  6. You know how over the years Hiram has just about taken over Dallas? Well, the airport is anticipating that one day this will be part of Atlanta.
  7. My Dad got a GPS for Christmas a couple of years ago. Whenever we (parents and I) go to Atlanta and have the GPS on --- well, you know how when you miss a turn it says "when possible make a legal u-turn?" My mother always says something about how she doesn't know how the woman keeps up with where we are. My Dad and I don't know if she is joking or being serious......
  8. I don't know if they are the same way as puppies and kittens, but you may need to stimulate its behind to make it go after you feed it. If so - wear a glove - hold it over the sink - run a little water on your finger and gently rub until it goes.
  9. Since this thread came up again.... Has anyone on here looked for the geocache near the Chattohoochee technical school? I tried to find it one afternoon, but there were too many people still around to get out and do a proper search. Also my GPS (using the geocaching intro on iPhone) wouldn't hold a signal. I was wondering if the thing was actually near the entrance or over to the left. I could really use some help on that one --- about drove myself crazy!

    NCIS

They all just signed five year contracts - so I don't think its a problem. There was some talk about whether the actor that plays McGhee would come back, but they finally negotiated enough with him for him to resign.
  11. Was wondering if you took her to an oncologist or if it was just your regular vet?
  12. You shouldn't have told me about this one....now I'll never get anything done....
  13. November Rain - Thanks for all the info! I thought I might get to go today, but so far - hasn't happened. I have an active one right up the road from me - so may try to find it before it gets dark. A question --- some of the ones haven't been found since August --- are they worth looking for or are they most likely gone? I see where some of them seem to have a "Needs Maintenance" in the listing - do hunters put that there or do the owners? I still can't get on to the forums. Unless you are a Premium member - you have to wait 24 hours to be able to. I have seven to go! I do
  14. Okay, so I've been reading over how it all works on the Geocaching site and have a few questions (I can't access the forums yet since I just signed up). What do you usually leave when you are suppose to trade something? Did you buy some geocoins when you got started or did you just end up with some after you got started in it? BYOP = Bring Your Own Pen? Any other helpful hints that would help someone get started? Thanks~
  15. They had a sign out front that they sell Merrick dog food, but I was wondering if they sell any other kind of pet food. Does anyone know the name of the store or have their phone number? Thanks!!!!!
  16. A friend of mine knew the police officer that she killed and also someone she once dated. She kind of fascinated me because I don't know how anyone could stay so unemotional and detached like she did at her trail. No remorse at all. Very scary that someone like that actually existed and could have got away with the first murder if she hadn't gotten so greedy. I have always wanted to write a book about her - how does someone get that cold and calculating?
  17. Yep, and it sounds like the Instructor did exactly what your suppose to do - picked a flat open spot and put it down. Kudos to the pilot! Good job!
  18. My husband and I have been discussing this because there is one near where we live that has lights on it. It is located as you are entering into a curve. If you didn't know what it was - it would be very easy to get distracted at night and try to swerve out of the way. It looks like it is ON the road when you first see it. Like a bicycle rider or someone walking with reflectors on. Someone also put a bunch of balloons on it and until I got use to it - it looked like someone was walking out onto the road. Very sad situation, but I hope it doesn't cause another accident.
  19. What did the sticker on the bag say? Someone stole ours before we ever got it off the mailbox!
  20. Can someone PM me with who this was or what house this is? I have a client that lives in that subdivision. She is about that age - was (or is) teaching school. She has a minor child. Hoping it is not her. Thanks~
  21. Bring back Paula and let Elton John take Simon's place. THEN I would start watching again!
  22. Since all Muslims are not terrorists and there are different fractions of Islamists (which is a political religious group) - why not leave most of the religious aspect out of it and tell him about Al-Qaeda instead. It is an international terrorist network run by Osama Bin Laden. I know you don't want opinions, but I think it is important that he realize that a religion that has been around for centuries did not cause the deaths --- an extremist group who happen to be Islamists did. Al-Qaeda has actually ONLY been around since the mid 1980s. They believe in jihad and most Middle East
  23. Where do you live? Is it possible it's a donkey? There is one somewhere around near where I live - I hear him/her at night sometimes.
  24. It's crazy until you see how much you can make as a friend! The reason it was started though - was for people that want to go to plays, museums, or eat somewhere nice, but don't want to go by themselves. I think it was started in Las Vegas because a lot of people out there on business want to experience Las Vegas, but since they have a limited amount of time to be there - they don't have time to make actual friends. The owner of the company is VERY adamant that it is NOT an escort service. Since prostitution is legal there and he states he won't put up with anyone trying to make it an esco
