Oh, I know!! I am really close with my boys. My oldest is my little buddy, and my youngest is still so needy of me. I know we will always be close and have a close relationship...it's just that it will be different. Maybe as they get older it will be better. Right now I am just so tired of playing cars and trains and hearing about Bakugan, etc. Lol...I needed some Barbies in this house! Buy a Barbie for yourself and enjoy!! When we had the great nieces visiting and they wanted to visit the American Girl Store, my 38 year old daughter (single, no children) ended up buying herself an A

Pcom is the pulse of Paulding. A friend told me about pcom after someone (auntsuger) posted that they had seen Santa in a restaurant in Hiram and how their kids were trying to decide if he was the real Santa. I came on to check out the topic and was happy to read all the wonderful things being said about my Santa. I printed out that topic and it is in one of our Santa scrapbooks. I've read Pcom everyday since then - the Elves say I'm addicted!! (They could be right! )

Usually meats like this will have a "use or freeze by" date on their label. I've seen that on several meat products.

They didn't need those things in my school days (a looooonnggg time ago!). By the time we got home from school, the teacher, the principal, the store clerk, and/or our neighbors, had already contacted our parents and they knew it all, and we knew they were going to know!

The '57 Chevy was a jewel of a car. Bright red, with red and black interior, and a set of black sponge dice swinging from the mirror, the car was the envy of everyone. Sure, there were lots of '57 Chevys around, but this one was different somehow. Maybe because the owner took so much time to detail every inch of the car with such meticulous care. Truly a car worthy of attention....just as much as the owner himself. The classic 'bad boy' look, tight jeans, white T-shirt with a pack of cigarettes rolled up in the left sleeve, his dark hair combed into a ducktail, with a waterfall dripping o

Thanks. I'll try that. I usually use regular milk, but have used buttermilk, sometimes I make my own buttermilk by adding some lemon juice to regular milk, but have not tried evaporated milk - so I'll try that, too! Another way to make some good cornbread is to use sour cream instead of the milk and add a can of cream style corn to your other ingredients. Very moist and good! Now, I'm starving!!

Sounds great!! Now, wanna share your secret for the moist cornbread?

I think they were having something at Pickett's Mill tonight, a nighttime tour and a 'battle'. Our house shakes about every 15-20 minutes.

I just read that some of the dentist offices are collecting the leftover candy to send to the troops overseas.

Thank you!

Well, that makes sense.

Thank you, smoochiemom, for the kind words. Santa will be doing the tree lightings in Marietta on Dec. 3, and in Hiram on Dec. 4, then will be on the square in Marietta weekends in December and everyday Dec. 19-24. Looking forward to seeing you and your beautiful girls.

My hubby tried the Vicks but it did not work for him. He had to get a prescription.

That pass will save you lots of money. The Grand Canyon alone is $25 per person.

Just remember to take advantage of every gas station and rest stop along the way. In areas, they are few and far between! Enjoy!! You'll love the canyons (Grand, Zion, Bryce), Mesa Verde is awesome. If you have time, take the train from Durango to Silverton (wear old clothes cause you'll be covered in coal soot!) Oh, and don't take any 'shortcuts' on those gray roads in the atlas. Our shortcut was 'only 10 miles', but it took us about 3 hours to do it, and I doubt you could do it with a camper anyway! Have fun!!

The first few rows of the balcony are great seats! The ones further back have some sight problems (poles, etc.). I prefer balcony seating if it's available. Check the Fox's website to see the layout of the seats.

I don't think many pilots who spend $140,000 + for training (yes, that's the amount my daughter spent!), plus years of flying regionals to maybe finally get to fly the big planes, would risk losing their licenses on a dare. -
I'd say if you are given any paid maternity leave, you're better off than most. None of the companies I ever worked for offered paid maternity leave, from large corporations (30,000 employees) to small businesses (4 employees).

Congrats!!
