When my aunt was sick, I made egg custard for her and put in a little extra sugar. The "sweet" tastebuds are the last to go. Also try adding some protein powder to her milkshakes. -

There's a fellow, Bill, working to repair the fascia board and soffit on one corner of my house. Yesterday he brought a couple of his cousins to help and when they started cutting away the rotten wood, a squirrel came barreling out and flew over Bill's head. Then they pulled away the boards and 3 babies fell out! One guy put them in a box to take home with him (better than in my yard)! The boards were repaired and painted but the mama squirrel kept coming back. This morning Bill came back to finish and called me outside. Love those! I have an aluminum electric slow cooker that we used for camping. It's pretty beat up but still works if you'd like to use it. You can brown meat in it and then simmer all day for stew, chili, spaghetti and such. Fries eggs and bacon, too. It's lightweight which is a plus when camping.

There has been a Swap Shop on the radio in Augusta for years and it is really popular.

They are building a new Goodwill store in west Augusta, think east Cobb, and the reason was that the people in the area donate nice things. There's a goodwill in Buckhead and a friend's hubby got nice clothes there. Sooo maybe it's not going to be "trashy."

Yep, still got my Mom's. It's a presto, too. Are you looking for a pressure COOKER or a pressure CANNER? You can get ones that do both but mine is just a cooker.

I'm supposed to go to Rome, August 17th. I have to call in the day before, but that's the first day. They said possibly 2 weeks. My Mom will freak! She won't be alone but I now have new apron strings attached to her since she hit 87! She'll be 91 tomorrow, BTW. Any pointers or other info? Never done Federal duty before.

According to my bro there should be pins buried that denote property lines. He lives in Cherokee so I don't know if it applies to us. He found his with a metal detector.
