I use cast iron on mine, just don't scoot it back and forth on the stove. It will scratch the surface. Of course, any pan you do that way could possibly scratch it also. Love the stove. You must have special cleaner for it, but it works like a dream!

Not really too birthday oriented, but I like "Flame" (for the birtday candles flame)

Possibly they are going from Hiram to Hwy 120, because I saw them at the Dallas Highway location last week.

All of the above advice is great, but don't forget exercise. It does wonders for high blood pressure as well. I have had it for 20 years. Family history and I developed it during pregnancy and it has never gone away.

I love sunsets, especially those experienced on the beach. I also love watching birds, dogs, and squirrel playing. Also, my grown children having a good time together, small children and their facial expressions, snow falling, smelling freshly mowed grass, and seeing pics of my (now deceased) grandmother (brings back such good memories).

I totally agree with you. There are some who say it is a sign of weakness and stupidity. How can they possibly judge unless they have walked in that person's shoes. They also say there are so many places where someone could get help. Well, some people don't have the resources to know where these places are. Just as an example, some need help with their utiilty bills and it is practically impossible to get help with these. I have heard numerous stories of people being turned down for help in several different situations. How do you know that person did not seek help and was simply turned

I am so relieved that your son is going to be ok. Please keep everyone updated on his progress. God bless you!

Did anyone watch "The 19th Wife" last night on Lifetime? Weird. It had a different twist from just polygamy. The community was actually controlled by the "Prophet". It was like the women were brainwashed into believing that they had to abide by that way of life. I watched it by justifying it was just a movie. I realize now it is very much a way of life for a lot of people.

My heart goes out to you! Hope Starr comes home soon.

I know that everyone means well - saying this could not be due to life change. But, I had a very rough time with it and it absolutely made me crazy. I hated everyone and did not know what I was going to do. Fortunately my doctor recognized what I was going through. I dropped a magazine on the floor in his office and literally broke down in tears, all because I dropped a magazine. I am sure many of you went through it without problems, but I was a basket case. Please don't think that everyone has an easy time. Having said that, a doctor is the best person to diagnose. Whether it needs

My son is eating me out of house and home
drl429 replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
When my 24 year old was 10, he could eat a whole pizza by himself. He would eat 10-12 muffins for breakfast. He was and still is slim and healthy and has always been very active. My pediatrician told me once that my son had the fastest metabolism of any kid he had ever seen. I also have 3 other boys and together they did not eat as much as the "fast metabolism" brother ate. We used to tease him about the "holes" in the ends of his toes. Food in and out through the toes. -
How is your baby?

Better be safe than sorry. She may be teething, but my granddaughter did the very same thing, doc said it was teething, but then she looked in her ears and found an ear infection. Everytime she has cut a tooth she has also had an ear infection. She is a year old and has had 4 infections. Heading for tubes probably.

I think whatever makes the loved ones left behind comfortable! If a memorial cross, or whatever can bring them comfort, so be it. It is hard enough to deal with the loss of a loved one or good friend and you should do whatever it takes to help!

I want some "Opium" Perfume, a new soft robe and ----------- You look more like Santa than Santa himself does.

Heartstar, I am so glad you replied. I am a mother of a friend of Rhianna's and I think of you often. I wondered how you are doing. I also thought about Rhianna and Jonathan when I heard about Zac. I will never forget the impact Rhianna's passing made on my son. I hope you have found some measure of peace. My heart goes out to you now as it did then.

I have never had to go through anything like this, but from my standpoint, I don't think I would mind it being posted. It does notify a lot of people, those who you might want to know, but don't know how to get in touch with, or simply people who you do not think of at that stressful time. It also just might notify the one person who can offer a true measure of comfort to you, perhaps someone from your past who knew you very well and you have lost touch with. Then there are those people who should know, but you just don't want to have to deal with at the time. If your loved one is a young

Try to stay calm and hang in there. It probably will pass. Just remind yourself that his stubborn attitude will serve him well someday in the future. A lot of strong minded kids just need a little more time to adjust to change. I would rather see them that way then to have a little robot who does exactly what they are told everytime.

Yes, anger is very normal. It is just one of the stages you go through. Don't be hard on yourself. Really, there is no right or wrong reaction. You feel what you feel! I am praying for her parents and for you too!

It sounds like she is in the best hands possible. She also has a very good friend in you. Prayers still being said.

You must really be hurting for your mom! Prayers said for all.

I would recommend Paulding Dermatology also, I am just not sure if there is a male dermatologist there.

Many prayers being said!
