12 years ago or so, Hurricane Opal came through and we had been without power for several days. My freezer items were in danger of thawing out so out of desperation I baked or grilled everything in my freezer on our gas grill. The only thing that did not cook well was fish sticks! They were AWFUL!

Don't ever think you are stupid or not a good mother! It is very evident you care so much for your kids! Our children are guinea pigs, every single day is like an experimental lab when you have kids. We make all of our mistakes on them and we have our very best moments with them as well. My 4 are grown now. They have been thrown into ceiling fans, their heads have been bumped on the door frames, and they have experienced about a million other mishaps. But you know what - they all survived the bumps and bruises and we actually laugh about it all now. They tell me at least I was a hands on

All I can say is: if one of my loved ones was in danger and needed help, or if my house was burning down - I would want the person helping to be in fantastic shape and able to perform at the highest level!

Back 8 years ago when one of my sons attended prom, the limo driver got drunk during the prom. The kids took the keys away from him somehow and called the limo company. The company sent out another driver, but it took some time and the kids were never reimbursed any of their money.

They reported this morning that he actually was on life support from a fall that he had. It caused extensive head trauma and he had a hemmorhage in his brain. I don't think death was kidney related.
