  1. Dunno why this made me think of front butt.
  2. Are you setting the ringtone on the phone or via iTunes on PC? http://www.gottabemobile.com/2011/10/17/top-10-settings-to-change-on-your-iphone-4s/ OR More in depth: http://www.ehow.com/how_2214491_change-ringtone-iphone.html
  3. Actually petro companies are building lots of infrastructure for Natural Gas energy production. Even as the oil wells go dry they can extract more gas from the deposits via fracking. That's already in the works. The deal with the mpg savings of all electric and hybrid electrics that use a non-direct drive generator engine for the electric motors has to do with the effiencies gained by using these methods of transportation. The main one being you remove millions of leaky, pollution producing, ICE's off the road, and consolidate that into one production plant. Also hybrids that use generato
  4. Something I should add to the topic for DGITW, why not try to get a few more trees taken down when they come to get the one and maybe it'll help subsidize the price of the dead tree downwards somewhat? Just a suggestion. But for a dead tree, no, $400 isn't entering the realm of being anywhere near too much.
  5. It was just barely enough cable, It's actually old copper coated 3-stranded steel linemans cable. Our tree had been dead for a year and started doing some serious de-limbing over this summer damaging the roof pretty severely. So we pretty much has nothing but a "trunk" to fell thankfully, but when the main cable broke the tree went from leaning where we wanted to fall to standing right up and tipping over towards the house. Thank god the safety come alongs and wedges in the base kept it from going over. In fact during that puckering moment.. I saw in my head the tree going into my
  6. My father and law and I dropped a 45'-50' dead tree no more than 8 foot off the corner of my house this past late summer. The tree was an old sweet gum and leaning towards the house. Why did we take it down? Cheapest price I could get for the tree being so close to the house was $1200, plus the guy wanted to work a "deposit" and have me sign paperwork to reduce his liability in case the worst happened. Oh yeah I should also mention I had about 4 different guys come out and look at the tree and shake their haads and declined to make an offer to remove it because of logistics.
  7. Firstly I found, this morning, a fully interactive online version of the 1823 Map of Georgia and Alabama by H.S. Tanner showing the earliest counties and Indian territories. Available Here: http://www.davidrumsey.com/luna/servlet/detail/RUMSEY~8~1~1371~100139:Georgia-and-Alabama-By-H-S--Tanner- And reading up on some historical Google searches having to do with Georgia in that time frame I stumbled across a free Ebook of "The Early History of Jackson County, Georgia" by Gustavus James Nash Wilson. This recounts the stories of the earliest settlers of internal Georgia one of whom penned t
  8. Paulding seems to sit right in smack in the middle of some type of crazy snow corridor. If the metro area gets mentioned at all we tend to end up with snow. I was too young to remember the '77 snow storm. But I remember snow jam '82 when we got a freak snow event that went from snow to freezing rain back to blizzard conditions starting at rush hour and coated the entire metro area within like 2 hours. Then there was the 93 storm where there was a 10inch thick sheet of ice in front of my parents house in East Paulding for over 10 days. But we've had a few other freaky ice events ov
  9. You know, it's simple, it works, and I would have never happened to think of trying this. Thanks, I'll have to remember this one.
  10. Is this something as simple as it just changed your default home page when you load your browser? Try this: Open Internet Explorer Press ALT to bring up the File Edit View Favorites Tools Help Menu Bar Click on Tools Click on Internet Options At the top of the first tab is a box for you to place/see your homepage address in. Is it showing the Babylon address in that box? If so you can click Default to go back to MSN.com or we. Use current uses the page you are currently at, or you can type in your own address. Once changed, click OK. Then close and reopen your browser
  11. Let me guess you are using firefox? The problem is that the babylon toolbar makes changes to firefox in order to hijack your address bar searches and so on. you need to type about:config into your firefox address bar, then on the page that opens up search for every instance of Babylon Toolbar, highlight the string if it contains anything to do with the toolbar, and choose to set the settings back to default.
  12. It's been going around. We pretty much called off Christmas festivities in my family because EVERYBODY was sick for the Holidays, I just finally got around to "delivering" the last of my xmas gifts just this last weekend. But I'm still suffering from sinus infection from the cold itself. Got a Dr's appt in two weeks with GP, figured I'd wait it out until then.
  13. What dog food? LOL. I went by that roaring store today before the rains get here and it's a shame to see the parking lot full for the first time just so folks can clean out the store. There were buggy trains coming out of that joint. But yeah that place is picked over as of today, only animal food left are in the cans/pouches. Looks like they'll be able to close her down after this weekend. Poor family dollar, everybody walking past their "Grand Opening" sign to rush into Foodlion.
  14. I heard the same thing from a non p.com source. 50% off what remains starting tomorrow. DING DING!! Yup! One of the best grocery stores around to find great deals on red meat when they would run them. But shopping in the rest of the store.. GAH everything was between .25 to 1.00 more expensive in that store.

I cannot, I didn't approach the vehicles involved as I was stopping and getting out when the PCSO pulled up, I have to assume they were over at the courthouse when the call came in. They stated they had it under control, and told us if we didn't witness the actual collision we needed to clear out, so I had no reason to hang around and be in the way. All I know is the Gold Cadillac was fairly new, as in bought within past 6-7 years and the lady in it had become conscious after the PCSO arrived so they immediately began tending to her. You may be able to call the PCSO and give them yo

The accident was in the median, meaning the cars that wrecked had piled into the median from the intersection. I was there moments after the wreck happened. Someone in a F250/350 ran the redlight on 278 and creamed an older woman in a gold Cadillac in the drivers door as she was crossing. They had to cut her out. Neither side of the highway (278) were blocked as most emergency vehicles were in the median or in the turning lanes. They may have blocked the w.bound lane tho when the ambulances showed up. BTW I stayed a moment to make sure everyone was okay and see if I needed to make a s
  18. A LEO family member, SWIM, has looked into this extensively, shared their findings with me, and even gave me a link to a detailed study by a state university for the DEA about. I basically got the lowdown. This stuff isn't pot, not by a long shot, but it falls under a category, a grey area at the moment, of these things called Research Chemicals. Basically most of this stuff is a high grade pharmaceuticals that were engineered to synthesize and study the effect of marijuana on the brain in a clinical setting. The side effect is that they in turn do a good job of getting the user "high" whe
  19. Sounds like they logged into your email account via web login and got you there. I've had this happen to one of my own, and heard of this happening to others with the, Yahoo accounts that ATT migrated Bellsouth users over to. Simplest fix is to change your password to something containing both Uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers.
  20. Take photos everywhere you go and upload them to Facebook. Use it as a GPS in your car. Download an ebook app and a book to read.
  21. My preferred resolution is 1920x1080 Happy new year.
  22. Went to pick up a prescription at Curl's up in downtown Dallas on Thursday of last week, and was directed to park in the lower area behind the store by Dallas's' Finest, and had to be escorted into and out of the store up there by a scene controller because they were busy "Shooting any second now." I stood in Curls and watched some extras move about across the street before a guy hiding behind around the corner edge of the ATT CO building in Dallas jumped out calling "CUT". Oddly during al lthis there was even a group of folks who came walking up who were doing a real scavenger hunt durin
