What about one of those team building camp things? Remove her totally from her normal world, take away her attachments, and have some folks make her open up and rely on others?
-
That's the problem anymore really is it not? Society now ties everyone's hands of any punishment during their development years that that would straighten them out and kids have now become so defiant while having ZERO clue of what the the real world consequences are. They also don't realize how their lives will totally change after turning 18.

Has she been in any type of trouble? Any chance of getting her into one of those "Scared Straight" things where they take them to the prisons/jails? Usually this is handled through the juvenile department here in GA, meaning you've had to been in some type of trouble, but there may be other similar programs. IDK, just a suggestion.

Well if they eat scorpions and snakes.. erm.. hope you don't keep a good count on how many ducks u got
-
Hmmm.. Do you guys have a problem with water snakes in your lake in the summer? I'm just OT askin' cos i mite need to get us some ducks

Yeah I've heard about them from EVERYONE my whole life and thought they were a myth till seeing the first dead one at 19 and being, oh that's it, they're so itty bitty, and my friend said they feel like 100 wasp stings when they tag you, but I heard they won't kill you, unless you are allergic.

I would never suggest that the situations these people are in, the actual problems they face, and what they have to deal with that leads them to want to horde is fake on the show. I'm suggesting it's mainly just the narrative, the story we're presented is what is manipulated to a great degree to effect how we take in what we're viewing. While such a persons story alone is interesting, you've still got to present a beginning, a midddle, and an end with some type of resolution. Throw in some dramatic moments, maybe a bit of friction, etc.. I just find reality TV to be a bit over manipulative at

I've grown up and lived in Georgia all my life and I've seen a total of 3 brown scorpions here in my entire life, and 2 of those were already dead husks. BTW, the last, and well only, time we had a live scorpion in my house, the cat come in here, tugged on my pants leg, and said "Dude I don't know what kind of bug that is but you need to go kill it, it's freaking me out.", and so I did.

I'll have you know there's a huge difference between slavery and wanton needless slaughter of an entire culture of folks. Only one of those ruined an entire race and culture forever, and we celebrate their history once a month. The other doesn't even compare obviously, DUH.

Well shoot honey lets load up the spouses and head on out down to Joe Patti's Fish House (that better be the one in Pensacola) then But I was talking a bit more locally for a good seafood/steak combo. Erm, you know there's a very very old rule that you should never go out to eat at a restaurant on a Monday.
-
Er.. yeah I was going to say I never had a bad steak at the Atlanta Fish Market down in Buckhead, I know that's leaning more to the seafood but that place is great. But it's probably not what you're looking for, reservations are needed, semi-formal to formal dress, valet parking, appetizers $10-15, seafood dinners $15-45, steaks are around $30 for prime. Personally I'd go and do Maine Calamari and Fritters for appetizer, get a NY Strip and add shrimp, and have a cup of their house coffee for dessert.

Need help solving a husband riddle

The reason why I bust my butt around here is because my wife is the only one of us working full-time right now and I feel the need to carry my own weight, pick up the slack, and then some. Since she gets up and goes every day I have zero excuse. On top of that I'm taking care of my mother a few days a week when needed, and I still field the odd job and take offers of temp contract stuff from time to time. -
Your hubby is correct these shows are "made for TV", or at least the narrative is. In all the reality shows there is always going to be a thread of truth, but in most circumstances the truth in itself is too boring to fill up 44min of TV, so the producers tend to stretch things somewhat, edit things people say certain ways, and suddenly with all the right shots and cuts, you got your drama filled 44min of reality TV with the tears at the right moments and smiles and good feelings at the end.

Hey I cook dinners, clean the house, wash the clothes, once during the week and on weekends. I help her sort and fold on Sundays, and I'm always careful to hang up The Things that Shall NOT go in the Dryer, and things came out pink only that once but i learned... and I do yard work and am all the time repairing everything around the home... I know it makes my wife happy and she purrs like a kitten... but then I'm always too dang tired... to take... advantage.. hey.. wait a sec.. -
Here is a more up to date written word problem math test that seems to connect better with today's youth:

Now it has come to light the victim was on the phone with a friend when it all went down, the friend is now being referred to as a witness. The witness says the victim was walking home and it had started raining and he was afraid he was being followed, so he cut between two buildings where there was a covered breezeway to get out of the rain and try to duck the guy, and upon exiting the other end the guy (shooter) accosts the kid and yells something at him, the kid yells back in surprise, and then there's a shot fired and the phone cuts off.

We'd need some serious juju, that would require at least 20-30 pcommers going out and rinsing their cars off today. No reason to wash them, amirite?, just rinse them.

Back in Florida when a hurricane came through once and flooded the neighborhood i was in with about a foot and half of storm surge, me and all my neighbors were out there the next morning walking around in waders and spraying huge floating balls of ant colonies with cans of bug killer. I think it took over 2 years for the fireants to repopulate that neighborhood.

Winter? What the hell happened to spring?

She is Michonne, but WHO she IS, and who her friends are, is another story. I was actually sad to see them both introduce Michonne and foreshadow the prison, those are 2 major story lines from the comics. But glad I stuck around to finish out season 2 I had almost given up on the show earlier last year.

The price of tea in China is solely determined by the length of time you are renting the teagirl. If it's any consolation, my parents have no debit card, do no online banking, and someone stole one of their checks and cleaned them out via online purchases. Amazing what you can do with someone's name, address, bank account and routing numbers on the interwebs. Took the bank several days to catch it, alert my parents, and get it cleaned up. And they had to get new everything from the bank, and wait for new checks, all that fun. But then, some electronics store in some other stat
