Man the weather is too nice. I'm breaking out the grill tonight and gonna burn something.

What wait who? Bolton Furniture? I swear they were going out of business the entire time I was growing up, with TV commercials even.

Meh we had the dope copter fly around the property in fall of 2010. Since then I've been growing it on Pubby's property near the Dallas tunnel entrance.

Flashing and Booming here in Dallas. Been raining about 20 min now as well.

Anyone else have this cold or bronchitis crud ?

Oh gawd, again, we've had this in our family since Xmas/NewYear. Mine went and morphed into a double sinus infection. I had to take some new on the market liquid junk, Hydrocodone and Psudoephedrine with a expectorant in it. That was the only thing that could touch the chest portion of my cold and when I ran out of it after 10 days I thought I was going to die going back to OTC cold meds, I would have gotten a 2nd bottle but it runs about $130 for 10 days worth, and the first one I was given a manufacturer coupon for. So after 2 months I am FINALLY getting better. I can actually driv -
IMO, ALL these tablet devices are only useful in one room/setting only, the bathroom. My laptop is too large to use while on the crapper, and my Android phone is just too small. I find my Android tablet device, the Nook Color, to be just right. And the Apple iPad is just too much money to spend on my computing comfort in just that one room.

We ended up with a Nook Color. Currently I tote it around watching movies on it here at the house. Going to root/flash it with a custom rom here soon

I've eaten at the La Cocina over at Brookstone for years, was happy when they opened one right here near my house in Dallas. My parents have eaten this one every other weekend in the past as well as the wife and I and we've never had a single issue with our Debit/Credit Cards there. But then again it only takes one ass working there stealing the info to ruin the place forever for folks. The only complaints I could make about La Cocina is the usual ones when I walk in and a place is slammed. I used to eat at Tequilas when it was the only joint around in Paulding that wasn't in a "downtown"

Hmmm.. I know my wifes: Gone with the Wind Coal Miner's Daughter The Shawshank Redemption The Lion King and A Christmas Story If the TV channel is getting changed and those are showing on ANY channel then it stays on that channel, and I hate marathons. For me it'd be: Anything with action, guns, and boobs, or any combination thereof.

Think it's been determined that the 2GB of data is an gusstimated national network average. The broadband companies haven't been very forthcoming about what their precise metrics are for determining that you are a data hog, but it's generally considered if you are in the top 5% of highest bandwidth usage on the network for your area, then you probably qualify. Problem is different network areas will have different metrics. New Yorks network profile is a whole other world compared to Atlantas outlying metro area. Verizon is probably the only carrier running a true Nationwide LTE

You have to remember the Broadband folks redefined "Unlimited" in the early oughites, it doesn't mean all you can eat datawise, it means always on and ready to use as long as you want to use it, Unlimited. Now seems you are safe as long as you don't jailbreak and tether unofficially. OR Use over 2GB of Data a month. Most folks won't have to worry but power users might find themselves moved over to a tiered data plan eventually.

I just wish we could replace "Obama" with "Government" and all just get along. All I see anymore is two separate party's of crooks with different signs and advertising outside their places of business. But it doesn't matter which store I shop at their core business seems to be the same, screw me over every chance they get. BTW, I tried to vote NO on the poll here, and well, it wouldn't let me w/o picking a candidate I was voting NO for. :sigh:

Gotta love America. My mother is in her 60's has full blown RA, cannot hardly walk, cannot hardly drive, cannot open anything with her hands, has to go to the doctor 8x a month, and yet. NO DISABILITY FOR HER AS PER THE STATE of GEORGIA. Now that I'm depressed, where's my disablilty check?
-
That's good news. Just to give you some hope, my 60 yr old father was laid off at the end of September after being with his old place for 16 years. He was out of work for approx. 3 weeks before landing a new job with same pay but tons of good bonuses and perks that he didn't have before. He's a mechanical engineer/project manager for commercial/industrial/military construction projects. This was after he thought he'd have to move to another state where the field he works in isn't as bad as it is here in Georgia.

Figured I'd add. I've looked around at getting a TEFL Cert in the past (teaching English as foreign language). It seems this is one of the most needed certs to step out of our country and teach anywhere in the world where their first language isn't English. And it's not about being an English teacher but shows you can teach English along with whatever lessons which you'll need to be able to do in order to explain concepts. If you have a teaching degree, and your TEFL, you can pretty much write your own ticket outside of this country, especially in SE Asia/China where English teachers -
I loved that movie, and I absolutely hate folk music, but that movie was too much. And my favorite person in that movie went on to get her own TV show "Glee", I loved her scene where she talked about being a "groupie" in front of her husband as his eyes got as big as saucers.

Is that PC builder store still up around the Sams on Hwy 41 in Marietta? I can't remember the name today, but they had another store in D'ville. I know in the past they would get contracts to replace computers in businesses and would bring in the old computers, wipe them, and set them up and sell them for dirt cheap. Ahh just came to me, it's called "Prime Computer", I've walked in there and seen older computers on their shelf for around a bill and some change.

Mine would be: Well... hell, most of Raising Arizona since almost the entire movie is quotable. "Boy, you got a panty on your head" "I don't know... they were jammies, with Yoda's and sh*t" "You want to find an outlaw, hire an outlaw. You want to find a Dunkin' Donuts, call a cop." "There's what's right and there's what's right and never the twain shall meet. " "H.I., you're young and you got your health, what you want with a job? " "Dammit, are you boys gonna chase down your leads or are you gonna sit drinkin' coffee in the one house in the state where I know my

When you get home take a nice long bath with Epsom salts. You don't want it hot so you're pouring sweat and burning up, but you want it to be warm enough to get the blood moving and perspire a bit. Also prop your feet up while in the tub and the swelling in them and your fingers will soon go down. And drink some water to rehydrate during your bath, no soda or tea.

My home A/C is winterized, er that means I'd have to go pull the dang debris cover off the compressor. But yeah having all the winders down in the car wasn't getting it today.

This is the first year I'll be having my birthday in the Summertime. Crazy ass weather.
