We've been 6 years and even though we put 20% + down on the house I don' t think we'd break even factoring in the real estate commissions if we tried to sell. I'd like to get the heck out of here in move back home. Paulding county is interesting, most of the people are down to eath which I like, but I have seen some pretty bizarre things, I don't care for the politics. but I guess that's everywhere. If we stay in the Atlanta metro area I haven't figured where else I'd want to be though...

I really don't like either candidate but if Bill Carruth is pro-choice, pro-gun and will repeal that stupid female piercing legislation (I could care less, but d*amn, what the H*LL, do these people at the gold dome not have anything better to do than pass stupid legislation like this?) I guess I'll vote for him.

I agree, if this is true I encourage the parties affected to contact the media, especially the AJC and Action 2 News and hopefully embarass the h*** out of the administration and show the Atlanta metro area what they already know about Paulding County. LOL!!!

That is truly amazing and speaks volumes as to what we are dealing with the current administration when an employee's family member cannot exercise his/her 1st amendment rights. There is an established dynasty in this county and if you are not in the club and if you don't agree with it, its probably best to get out..

Well I believe Surepip has stated to the effect that Paulding County officials have already said you better have really deep pockets to fight for your rights. So unless you do, I guess your rights don't really exist.

Yes its a shame one can't stick up for their rights without losing everything because of a gov't bureacracy that has a corporation or their best interests in mind and will destroy you if necessary to keep their status quo a float.

Yes. I have heard these rumors for some time and have advised a few people to question whether it was risk losing everything to do so if this was true. I guess we the people of Paulding cty get the gov't we deserve....

I heard that someone's was fired due to someone's wife posting something on p.com. What was the post in question, anyone know? I also heard rumors to the effect that employees Facebook pages were being monitored. I don't know how much truth there could be to that with privacy settings and all.. Oh well, we've got 4 more years...

The holidays are the worst. A couple of years back, there were three suicides right near my house and I knew two of them.

I'm so envious. Would love to live down that way except for the heat and humidity. But that beats Atlanta traffic anyday.. LOL.. Hoping to get back to somewhere in Sweet Alabama one day..
