I'm strongly leaning towards it. However,I'm trying to get more information or a possible resolution at his school before switching him. I've left two messages w/ the asst. principal of my child's school and haven't been called back.

So what I am surmising from my child's teacher is that the school shouldn't have to do anything with him/for him for the next 15 year since he'll meet standards until then. LOL!!!

I've been almost sick to my stomach all day about this. I'm just now about to eat something. I guess in a sad sort of way I guess I'm glad that it was confirmed so early what I suspected that a disproportionate amount of the teacher's time is allocated to children w/ various learning, emotional disabilities and that the middle of the road kids and up kids are short changed. My son is in Kindergarten and his teacher has made remarks that she doesn't have time ( to work w/ him at his level- near first, first grade level) and that I should keep him at grade level. I have to beleive that the Sunday alcohol sales was an intentional blunder to keep it off the ballot until 2014. Well thanks BeachBum and Feelip-- I get too wrapped up in politics and am glad its over at this point. We didn't have the best candidates to choose from this time around and as much as I disliked both of them when it came down to it I hoped that Carruth could pull it off. With the momentum we have lately in the county with the hospital, Interroll, etc, it sure would have been nice to have someone at the gold dome. 2014 will be here before you know it and hopefully we can find someone within the County to run against Heath.
