I don’t know about male strip clubs, but I’d make sure the people I was with gave up their camera phones first. True story – let me see if I can tell it without ending up in the tonk. Some people I worked with years ago once gave a bachelorette party for one of the girls in the office. Needless to say, a male stripper showed up. You know, the old ruse of a “cop” showing up at the door because “You ladies are making way too much noise.” Anyway, a few days after the party was over, there was a photo of the bride-to-be that someone had taken at the party where she was sitting o

Yeah, it does seem like invisible money changing hands is what makes the world go 'round anymore. Well, that and that axis thing.

:snicker: Got a picture in my head of you "meeting up with" the speed limit sign in your yard.

I can't say that I was surprised to see this tidbit on the news this morning. http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/business-bureau-best-ratings-money-buy/story?id=12123843 Terror Group Gets 'A' Rating From Better Business Bureau? The Better Business Bureau, one of the country's best known consumer watchdog groups, is being accused by business owners of running a "pay for play" scheme in which A plus ratings are awarded to those who pay membership fees, and F ratings used to punish those who don't. To prove the point, a group of Los Angeles business owners paid $425 to the Better Busin

Pressure washing will clean it, but you have to be careful not to get too close with the wand or it will gouge the wood. (you don't have to ask how I know this). An electric sander will work best. Knock down any loose nails too. We just did ours a while ago. They make stains with waterproofing that are almost like paint now. I'm hoping it lasts longer.

Who is the manufacturer of the range you are buying and where are you buying it? It sound like the salesperson is trying to sell you a service contract on the range. Be careful! Some of them are not worth the paper they are printed on. They say they will fix anything, but it's a different story when the repair needs to be done. I used to work for 2 different manufacturers and some of them "farm" out their contract work to non authorized servicers. Be very careful.

Seriously. I feel like I know these people. Intimately. -
I have a treadmill. I do sometimes have trouble staying on my feet though. :clumsy: Hey! I'm not mean. Well, maybe a little when all the Yankee stuff starts up.

If I remember correctly, we were taught that Australia was a continent also. But that's not saying much. There are now more planets than when I was a kid.

For real! I don't remember too much of that decade, but they made my feet look like gunboats. Well.... sort of. In a round about way.

We so jaded.

Womens jeans that DON"T contain lycra EXCEPT in the waistline. And I don't mean the type that have an elastic waistband. :shudder: I hate stretch jeans. And that's all I have to say. Except that I am closet cleaning, so look in the GTG forum shortly. Oh, and someone keep the Moose out of this thread, please.

I so thought this was going to be a sarcastic thread. But pleasantly surprised that it was not.

I know it's not funny but the first thing that popped into my head was "For heavens sake....DON'T Go INTO THE LIGHT THIS TIME!!!"

Wow. All I get is paper in bags with pebbles. That's really bad, though. I think I'd go ballistic if people used my yard for a disposal site. -
Just saw on the news... A couple dozen Cub Scouts in DeKalb County were facing a bleak camping season after someone stole their gear from a church parking lot. But when Atlanta filmmaker Tyler Perry heard the news about the theft of Cub Scout Pack 103's belongings, he gave the scouts a check for $10,000 to cover the loss. http://www.ajc.com/news/dekalb/tyler-perry-helps-atlanta-642719.html

I have actually met this family. They lived near Gainesville where one of my brothers lives. I forget the story of how he met them, though. Certainly most people would classify them as "odd". There were a lot of odd people who came out of the whole sixties scene to be sure. I do remember though, that by that time River had been involved in quite a few films. Whatever went wrong in his life that led him down the path he was on....he was quite a good actor. He would have been one of the great ones had he lived. I haven't read too much about Joaquin's "film" but from what I do know

I spotted a huge hawk in a tree...ran to get my camera and when he spotted me he took off. So I guess today I saved a squirrel or maybe a chipmunk.

I am suitably impressed that you went to a place called Alligator Point and came home in one piece.
