No traditions here. I'm going to make brunswick stew with spicy grilled cheese sandwiches. My stew isn't fancy like Surepip's or LPPT's, but it will be warm and fulfilling Thought that would be good with the weather today.

Morning. My plans for today is to not do too much. Had a party last night and will be cleaning up a bit, then will kick back and relax for the rest of the day. Have to work tomorrow, so today is my last "vacation" day. Be safe out there on your travels - weather isn't going to be too great today.

^ this is mostly me. Only thing I would add is that if I'm in someone else's home and they INSIST I stop trying to help and just "sit and relax", I will do that. I respect the people I'm visiting to tell me if they don't want me to help, and than to not resent me for not helping. I do the same. If I accept your help, thank you very much. But if I tell you to sit and relax, please do that without me thinking that you are being lazy or taking advantage. I'll do the same in your house.

Very nice! We've been talking about replacing ours when we remodel the kitchen. It is (believe it or not) about 30 years old and still works great :::KNOCKINGONWOOD:::, but I'm sure we are pushing our luck. We like the french door models -- but not sure about that additional drawer. What do you like about that? Hope you get lots of years out of it!
