  1. You can get pickled watermelon rind at the grocery store, in the section with the other pickles. Usually these are sweet pickled. I haven't gotten them in a LONG time, but I think they are pretty good.
  2. Just heard an update .... heard the temps will be warmer, less "rain/frozen stuff".

  7. yes, a bad pillow will give you a headache, attribute to back/neck aches, disrupt sleeping, etc .... sounds like you might need a foam pillow. they are more expensive but they mold to you head-neck shape and retain their shape for a long time. i've seen them at kohl's or JCP. there are several of these types of pillows, filled with foam or pellets, etc -- but they are not fully kind most people purchase (keep one of those for decoration). good luck! edited to add: and I've seen these pillows at some of the mattress companies as well. they will let you try them while laying d

I've done many a creative leftover dinner -- will later this week with the leftover from my dinner tonight Tonight we are having: Fried Chicken Roasted Corn Poblano Salad Baked Beans Later this week I'll take the meat off of the chicken bones and make Quesidillas adding chilies and homemade salsa .... YUMMY!!

  11. I'm home & it can do what it wants. I'm happy not to try to drive with those who have "no clue". I'm not moving until at least Saturday and it will be long gone by then. I'm hoping this will be another "non event".

There are SO many studies that say that only about 15-20% of rapes are actually reported when they happen, statistically higher reporting (or what is called forced reporting) when another crime is associated with it and a rape also to be reported (like abduction, break-in, kidnapping, drugging, etc ...). A resulting pregency may force additional reporting because of other situations mentioned (like husband out of town, boyfriend, etc ....).   20. Congratulations on the 40th Anniversary! As far as a party & who throws it? ... really don't know. Seen it handled both ways, children throw it, other sisters/brothers/inlaws throw it, the couple themselves throw it - no clue really is the "proper way". I think it depends on how intimate the attendees would be - extremely close only or open it up to whomever you can find (friends, relatives, etc ....).
