Obviously you missed my post and a couple of others that told you that government workers are not permitted to assume your race. I've dealt with some people who looked as "white" as I who told me they were Native Americans. It's not for me or anyone else to say what you are - only YOU can do that. Legally and literally, that's how it works.

I disagree - I thought Crystal did well with 'I'm Alright' from 'Caddyshack.' And the duets were pretty good.

Has anyone noticed the new grocery store sign is gone

That would surprise me, since the new one is on 92 and Brownsville. -
Shh! Don't make him even more paranoid than he already is. I just hope the gov't IS out to get him so he won't have wasted all that energy worrying about it.

As I remember, 92 was slated to be widened from Douglasville to well north of 120 sometime in the next couple of years - I went to one of the meetings where the potential routes were posted. Of course, that project might have been tabled when the economy went south. -

Maybe since the Food Lion opened up in Douglasville, they decided they didn't need two so close together. -
Yep, you need to make an appointment for a driving test - the number is 678-413-8400.

Goo Gone is just citrus oil.

I work for another hated government agency (the GA Dept. of Driver Services), and for your information we are not permitted to ASSume your racial designation. We *have* to ASK. You could easily "look" like one race while considering yourself to be another.

White vinegar works, too.

Don't you know dental floss can be used as a garrotte? Oh, the humanity!

You're not looking hard enough - it's right there next to the right to privacy.

Amazon *will* archive any books you buy that won't "fit" onto the Kindle, so if you use up the Kindle's storage capacity, you can choose to archive certain books and simply retrieve them when you want to read them.

Cutting up the bananas at home would work, too.

The guy who took the kamodo design and created the Big Green Egg was/is from Tucker.

Tell ya what: if you are as active and successful in your career AND look as good at age 88 as Betty White does now, we'll set up a Facebook page and petition for *you* to appear on SNL. Howzat?

Hardly - I can think of a couple of states where, for example, non-essential state offices are now open only four days a week because they haven't the funding to pay the employees to work five-day weeks. Government agencies have bills to pay, too - and less revenue with which to do it.

Here's the clip from 'The View:' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAglAS38xPs It was a tacky thing to say, but then I have such a poor opinion of 'The View' in general that nothing tacky that comes off that show surprises me.

You guys don't watch ESPN???

'The Middle' is one of my favorite shows. I started watching it because of Neil Flynn (the dad) - he was so funny on 'Scrubs.' But the show itself has won me over.

Actually, Erin probably *does* have some input as to her 'DWTS' costumes - they did some behind-the-scenes segments a while back, which showed that the pros have a lot to say about the design of the outfits, and that they give their celebrity partners some say-so. All of that means absolutely nothing to the stalking issue, because I'm pretty sure that Erin was being stalked before she was ever ON 'DWTS.'

Callaway Gardens is beautiful and close ....

I have to get mine this month, too, but as long as they give us something to carry around in lieu of having the sticker, I won't worry about it.

I always enjoyed her work, as well - she was in a TV series years ago that we always watched ('House Calls'). Godspeed, Miss Redgrave.

They took his money and gave him something that proves he's in compliance with the law. Would it have been better to refuse him any kind of service and thereby force him to ride illegally? I think not. When you order a special (vanity) plate, you pay for it in advance and are given a paper tag valid for 90 days while the plate is manufactured. While m/c tags are usually "in stock," I don't see what happened to Bones as substantially different. It's a little inconvenient, but not devastating.
