Have you filed for unemployment or are you just assuming you won't get it? No matter what an employer says you should always file for it. The unemployment office often leans towards the employees favor. I have seen multiple people I swear would never be eligible yet they are drawing. The bottom line is, unless you did something REALLY bad, GO APPLY! If you have already been rejected by them, forget everything I just said.

McDonalds' suggested budget for employees
its mr sarcastic to you replied to LPPT's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Agreed.... if they want better than entry level wages then they need to get their foot in that door and work their asses off to make sure they don't stay entry level for very long. -
And there is a health risk to touching almost every single surface you come into contact with every day but yet you have made it this far.... Same here, but longer.... Life is short, apparently shorter for us according to the germaphopes/cootie patrol/etc

Does Paulding County really need an Ampitheater?
its mr sarcastic to you replied to Coppertop's Pop's topic in RECENT TOPICS
An amphitheater is stupid... A much better idea would be to make a huge aquatic facility that has year round availability. I have no doubt that residents of Paulding and residents outside of the county would come to use it. It is an incredible option for those that are not in an HOA community but can't get into the overcrowded Sara Babb scene.... -
Um, yer not doing a very good job of cancelling that rain dance...

Dana is supposed to be delivering me several weeks of clear, rain free skies...

Agreed... If it is Hardy take it to another dealership. Hardy told me my car was normal vehicle characteristics and Marietta Ford fixed it the first shot. I love Hardy for sales and service but their warranty work attempts are pitiful.

That's where we are living while our house is being built, the lake backs up to us... -
We tried Ippolito's tonight based on your suggestion and it was wonderful! The bread was amazing, the spaghetti/meatballs was better that I have had in a while and the service was outstanding! We WILL be back....

I am pretty sure the people from 1944 said the same thing about 1964..... -
Can you read cursive writing?

If people print their name and state that it is their signature then it is accepted. It's the same as the old requirement that you had to sign legibly, but then they had problems with people saying they didn't sign and it didn't look like their signature because they were forced to do something different than normal. It was a stupid rule.... -
I heard it on the radio and after a quick search tmz.com is the only place I found anything so far but I will look a bit more for it.... I am not sure at all, while I think the brother is a horrible person and Paula is most definitely old South, all of this seems a bit orchestrated.....

They are already catching the woman who filed the suit in some lies, so be careful what you believe.... I I am going to see how the whole thing unfolds but my feeling is that I just don't see how all these people stood for this behavior for almost a decade. In small business it is not at all uncommon for people to be paid what they accept. I am not sure why anyone is so shocked by this.... If a person walks in to me asking for a CSR job and an employer has a cap of $13, do you think they are going to say, NOOOOO I insist you take the $13! Heck no, they are going to take the deal!

Great! Now add anyone who is seeking Public Assistance to the blood tests and reject their asses when they don't come up clean.

I very much disliked the roundabout idea when they first started popping up but they work, and they work great.... Of course, like you said, can't fix stupid and a light or roundabout won't help that... -
Looks like Target is now dropping her too... This is insane.... I have never seen this kind of response over something someone said decades ago... People REALLY need to grab a life the next time they are at Walmart...

Getting a replacement Social Security card
its mr sarcastic to you replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I already knew all that and have never had someone require a ss card over another accepted item. Most big companies know how to handle you not physically having a card, if they are as big as you say.... -

Why would it be required you show it? -
If the eviction is started then it's not the possession of the tenant anymore so I would guess that they can do anything they want at that point.

They did a great job on our cars!

The "fair" part is subjective.... If you are ok with wholesale then you should be good with the price they offer, don't expect an offer much above that. If it is a very common car, expect slightly under wholesale. But it is a good way to get rid of something without any hassle.

Unfortunately you probably won't have much luck with the thugs part, but I would say contact the Marshall's office if you have any proof of unsafe living conditions as I would guess that is probably a code enforcement issue, I know in Cobb it is...

About new restaurant on Cedarcrest
its mr sarcastic to you replied to dallas nana's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Yep... I am not sure what everyone is raving about. We went twice and it was horrible service both times and the food wasn't even remotely on the leel of the Marietta Diner. It probably would have been "ok" had it not been set up to be as good as Marietta Diner. Hopefully it will improve and we will try it again but we will give it quite a while before trying again.
