We currently have a a POD because we don't have a house to put our crap in... But when we were at the old house my feeling was if it needed to go in the attic, we don't need it! That left only the small areas beside the cars in the garage and a little area in one of the rooms that had a tiny attic space accessible for Christmas decorations. We had no basement. Now we are going to a house with a 2400 sq ft basement and a walk in attic. Lawd help us....

Yeah, the film is almost like the surface clear coat has somehow been removed and it's duller than the rest of the cooktop, giving it an appearance of a film... It is right around the burners. That is what she suggested the easy off for, not sure if this is Momof3's issue or not.

I have no idea if it works or not but my old stove had this same thing and one of the cleaners at my company said to use easy off oven cleaner to get it off. I figured it is the same baked on finish as the oven so I wouldn't get it would hurt, but maybe try a spot in the back.

Agreed... She is far from ruined and has plenty of cash to ride out the storm.... After that, I suspect she will be just as big, if not bigger than she was before.

This was our experience, the hostess completely ignored us and there was zero wait.... I believe it was the owner who finally came by and asked if we were helped, we said no and the hostess still kept goofing off....

Yeah it's crazy, last week the lot FINALLY dried out but not anymore... It wouldn't be so bad if we could get a framing crew out there, they can work between the storms but they are all tied up everywhere and being slowed up every day by the rain. I am just hoping someone will get a break in their schedule to get it framed and get a roof on so the rain won't be an issue but for now, we are looking at mid-late September before that is going to happen... Oh well, what can you do but deal with it....

I am pretty sick of it myself... Our house is about two and a half months into the build and we have almost nothing done on it. The more it rains, the more it backs up the framers on other jobs. UGH....

I can't remember if it was Doreen or Lady Raider.... Lady Raider was trying to steal rockers from my front porch and Doreen I communicated via pm when we were looking for a dog and met her one time at the shelter. I believe we met Meltid right after that...

It is actually a REALLY good location as long as they advertise they are there because they would be the only close option all of the New Hope and Crossroads area all the way out to 61. I hope they do really well there!

Judging by the kitchen and finished areas it wasn't all that nice to begin with.... At least not what you would expect from a home of that size/appearance from the exterior.
