  1. Tell him when doing good/courteous things just do it, without any anticipation of it being appreciated and you will never be let down. Tell him you notice and it makes you proud whether it does the other person or not....
  2. Great to hear! Let us know how it progresses!
  3. I wish we could find some too... I have been trying forever to find some great meatballs, that don't taste like chefboyardee and have been to all the local ones mentioned above and have yet to find 'em! I miss the old Mineo's that used to be in front of Brookstone, theirs were incredible!
  4. I did it once and it was the biggest joke ever.... I ended up trading it because the dealers have so many loopholes they know how to get around it. Mine was for a unsteady idle on a brand new car, it would often stall out at lights, etc. I tried the nice route, then the lemon law route, then suing them. They had so many loopholes/angles they could escape out of I just gave up.... My advice is to find an attorney who specializes in lemon law, if I had realized there was a such thing back them I would have gladly payed them whatever they wanted! Hope you have a better experience with it!
  5. He's just joking with you, no way could a staple of the community close...
  6. Cobb Co PD will be able to add on a new wing with that revenue!
  7. Unfortunately everyone who said there is no way to tell is pretty much right on mark. Even the people who created Obamacare don't understand what is going on. We are in the middle of a group health quote for 2013-2014 and the carriers are all grasping at any and all info they can get, much of what they are getting is conflicting....
  8. I have done it a couple of times when moving and the house wouldn't sell and after knowing all I know now I would not ever want to do it again. And I would NEVER do it without a professional company who knows all the laws. Way, WAY too many landlords out there doing illegal things every day without even knowing it.... The law is way too tenant friendly and anyone who rents a house out better make sure they know what they are exposing themselves to...
  9. They will file a dispossessory action against him. He will get served with a notice of a court date. In court the judge will listen to the stories and make a judgment. Usually it's pay or get out. The tenant will have 7 days (I believe) to pay up, if they don't then the judge can sign off on the writ of possession request and then they schedule it with the Sherriff for eviction. The eviction crew will set all of his stuff on the curb while the law enforcement supervise. The judge cannot make the owner take a partial payment (unless there are extenuating circumstances like the home was
  10. What the heck is it with that stretch of Dallas Hwy in front of the Avenues? Dang.... It's not like the road is any different there than other parts of Dallas Hwy but the most horrible accidents occur around there... And before you say speed, the speed limit is the same the rest of the way up Dallas Hwy and there aren't nearly as many accidents as there are on that little stretch.
  11. If you go don't go with high expectations... It does the job but not so pretty to look at...
  12. We have been there three times and all three times were horrible...
  13. There is a story about him on yahoo....My link
  14. I'm not buying Paulding building a three story school. And elevators would be required for disabilities access... But again, not buying it.
  15. Ah, THAT narrowed it down! just kidding, I know which one you are speckin of...
  16. We do eat out on weekends but the kids are home during the summer along with my mother in law for lunch. They also eat breakfast at home. I typically buy everyone on sale or BOGO so it really helps us out on the small stuff. There are weeks here and there where I go over if meat or something is a really good deal but if you plan your meals around what you have and not what you want you can do it. Back when I had time to do the couponing thing I could get by some weeks with maybe $30 each week on average. You really have to invest a lot of time into it but it is possible.
  17. ok, I gotta ask... Is it really more dignified to cut them down with a chain saw rather than pull the tree/stump out of the ground at the same time?
  18. We average about $75 a week for a family of 5. We buy strategically and from multiple stores with BOGO mostly at Publix. You can't be a person who buys as needed to go this route, you have to buy as it is on sale and adjust your menus accordingly.
  19. LOVE Moccasin creek, LOVE IT! My parents used to take us all the time camping there, good times fishing in that little creek between the campground and hatchery.
  20. you know how many people are about to walk out and check their gutters dontcha?!?!?
  21. Has anyone reported it to the water department? I would think they could check the water for you to see if there is an issue....
  22. I picked mine up from Autozone at Crossroads three years ago ( I think, may be two )... Super nice people and I have had no issues at all with it.
  23. I have no clue what that bolded part means because mathematically it's pretty easy to prove the best deal but I can show easily how our grocery budget went in half ($150 wk to $75 wk for family of 5) when we started buying from different stores rather than one. That's about $75 and hour and while I am worth a lot, $75 an hour is pretty darned worth it in my book. I am pretty sure you and cranemac are twins separated at birth.... Agree completely on the meat department... :hork:
