  1. Probably more for projects etc on the bags I would think.. And I can tell you my kids would go through one glue stick a month pretty easily I bet.
  2. Most any teacher will tell you at open house you don't need certain items, we always wait for open house. With that said, I gladly give whatever they ask for just because I know there are others who can't afford to or are just cheap asses... And I see the pre sharpened thing too, 20 kids standing in line to sharpen pencils has to be a time killer. Seems like an easy thing to do at home. (I am very shocked this is the first post on this subject, kinda late in the season already, usually by now we have had thirty threads....)
  3. The needle isn't the issue. My original statement was there seems to be as much concern for giving blood as not giving blood in relation to cancer odds. I get that there may be benefits and there may be risks but I still don't get your point, and I am ok with that so we can just mark this one as unresolved. Google is your friend on the risks.... I am too lazy to go find them for you....
  4. Actually if it was the choice of sitting in a jail cell for life or the dealth penalty I think I would choose the quicker way out....
  5. And there are potential health risks as well, what is your point ?
  6. There is also information all over the place that giving blood could also increase cancer risk... These studies all contradict each other daily so it's very hard to believe anything these days....
  7. It is something that routes the a/c I believe.... Google Ford blend door problems and you should see what the symptoms are... My brother had his done and they had to remove his dash to get it replaced. But I don't think it is considered electrical so your issue may be different.
  8. Is it the blend door issue? That seems to be REALLY common in Ford's....
  9. Your dealer is smoking crack... A co worker got a Z71 LTZ Plus for just under $50k and it has all the goodies including upgraded chrome wheels which I believe cost around $3-4k. In a few months they will be throwing rebates all over these things to get them down to $40k.
  10. People have their various splurges/wasteful spending in life. Take the average person who smokes and drinks, they can easily blow $500 in cigarettes/liquor, etc. Or go shopping every weekend and drop a $100 at a time. Eating out a lot is easily a car payment. I personally would rather have something nice to show for it like a nice vehicle. I currently have a paid off 2002 Expedition but wouldn't hesitate to buy a new one if I found something I liked in the $400-$500 price range. The problem is, I don't see anything I like better than my truck.
  11. I am really confused by your reason for starting this thread. You seem ok with it and yet seem to be upset with those who aren't concerned. What is the real deal?
  12. Don't let the door hit ya in the ass on the way out....
  13. If a company is taken over/sold/whatever normally the contracts go with it and if they are billing the contracted amount I don't see why anyone would have an issue with it...
  14. Oh my good Lawd you people need a new horse to beat...
  15. Have you tried the Facebook yard sale sites like the Bentwater one? Things typically go faster on those...
