Evander Holyfield (very quiet and shy whenever I dealt with him), Feisal (price of Saudi Arabia...gave me a tour of his Atlanta mansion). Went to school with Travis Tritt and Ty Pennington. Ty has always been crazy, btw.

Don't know if you've ever visited Pitner Rd. Dog Park (off Due West area) in Cobb. Basically, that would be my vision. White Oak already has the kiddie playground so some fencing nearby could be fairly similar. Can he take a look at Pitner? What all would he be able to do and how could I help? Or would I need to head it up? Which way would work best?

Ooo. You and I may need to talk! Yup, that's her.

I don't think there is any way that she could research you. You give your first name only, nothing more. ? This doesn't sound like Shirley. Was it her?
-
Cool! Has she ever done a reading for you?

All we want is some fencing and some mulch for a dog park at White Oak. I guess that wouldn't line pockets for anyone, though.

Yeah, he/she should've bitten his parts off!

I know that we are tied in to the following: Aikens, Scoggins, Bentley, Cole, Crayton, etc.

I know a pretty good one. PM me if you need her info. Never any guarantees of course. Just have to know that it's not a perfect science. I never "live by" what she says but sometimes I think I should! Shirley Janney is her name. She's in Kennesaw. She charges $60 cash/30 minutes. Appointments used to be a couple of months out but I think she finally raised her prices enough to clear the appt. book. PM the poster for the number.

I just threw up a little bit.

You GO, ANIMAL!!!

Hopefully someone will confront them. If not, at least video what they are doing so that they can be forced to answer to the police. That's some sick behavior!

Someone posted a job opening at the Douglas County Courthouse. It was a secretarial position and pay was not great but it's a foot in a door. Warning: it will take a good two months to actually get to work unless they are in a hurry. Best of luck!! It's been tough out there! Oh yeah, I saw that JCPenny at Arbor Place mall was hiring for seasonal help. She may want to check that out. Again, maybe she could move around within the company with her experience.

Those who don't back down from the scary dane that's making the house move every time he barks are usually good people!

About one small snake a month, one mouse and one live opposum with babies attached. The opposum ran into the pool to get away from the dogs and had to cling to the metal rope loop until we could scoop her out. Bats will usually come right down to the water WHILE we are in it! So it doesn't surprise me that one miscalculated.

Oh my gosh, I am SO doing this to my son!!!

I let our 176# great dane and 3 other big dogs greet them at the side-light. They usually just back away. my big babies!

Oh snap! Thanks for the heads-up. Hope everyone has a blast. I'll be somewhere else.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it will be a more authentic menu. The people opening the restaurant are aware of how many other Mex. restaurants are in the area. Maybe they have something different to offer.

Why would anyone want to run for public office?
katcol replied to drphilofdogs's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Thanks for the insight, Vicky. You're right, we haven't been in your shoes. It would stand to reason that if the families doubled in size, so would the tax income. On the other hand, new buildings cost beyond what even that revenue would cover. I hate that they did all the new fields/bang-up auditoriums and then pulled jr. high sports. My memory is not the best but I recall part of the justification being that the middle schools would have access as well. Even still, our middle school raised around $30K to pay for their own baseball fiels. Wonder where that $ went. One ques -
I may have been Mexican in my past life. Can there really be too much Mexican food?
