No I've never seen that show. I happen to be the boss of two very loving pitbulls.

That's not us but thank you for letting parents know and calling them! Side note: Do you watch the show (PitBoss)? We love us some Shorty!

A little off the beat but I have a question. What would keep Kim Cobb from running for School Superintendent? Is she required to have experience working in the school systems like the others? Isn't it our choice or do we not vote on the super position? It might be a more difficult possition for her but we all know she would be the only one who would honestly hold the kids/parents (tax payers) as a top priority. I think it would give her more leverage than she has now and I can't think of anyone better to pay that salary to! Maybe this should've been a different topic

Hilarious! -
Maybe the fire dept. could show up with a simple contract for the owner to sign, stating that they will pay the full cost of the service (I'm sure they have a "per call" cost worked up somewhere). IF the contract is signed, they unload their equiptment and go to work. The homeowner would probably be able to get out of it because they had to sign a contract under duress or some crap like that.

11-year-old found with handgun at Paulding County school
katcol replied to onekidmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Looks like God step in yesterday, even though he's not allowed to be there. Or at least someone DID raise their child right. I trust that the authorities have the details and handled it accordingly. They must not have felt that the child really had bad intentions or they would've kept him, right? Are we clear that it was a male? I was just curious. -

Actually, as far as I'm concerned it became our business the minute a gun entered the school. If other kids heard what the intentions were, that needs to be brought to the attention of the PCSO. -
Hey, that's a great idea! Maybe we should just do it the last weekend in Oct. and do all three nights.

I think we're gonna do Halloween next Friday night.

Glad you liked him. I found him through an awesome p.commer. Feel better fast!

Some kids just aren't ready as early as others. I think the more you push it, the more he will resist. My daughter was very advanced in everything but pooping in the potty was just too much for her. I've heard that they get creeped out by the whole "dropping" sensation when it comes to the #2. They usually want to be like other "big" kids so I'd just wait it out. Forcing the issue can set you back even further.

Awesome! Hope it gets worked out quickly for you. Can't imagine dealing with that type of pain while you have a newborn!

LOVE Dr. Langford!!!! As a matter of fact, my last episode is what made me leave Dr. Goolsby. PM me if you want details. Long story short...you will be wasting your time with Goolsby if you need anything for pain. I would by-pass him and go to dr. Langford. Not saying that Langford would put you on pain meds but he would never put you through what Goolsby put me through.

Don't know if this will help but I've had Pericarditis before. If the pain radiates to the back and is worse when lying down, you may want to look this up on wikipedia. I went undiagnosed for two months so it doesn't always correct itself. I was given a perscription anti-inflamatory which seemed to help. Took me a little longer to get rid of it, probably because it went so long without being treated. Regardless, you need to get to the Heart Clinic. This is where you need to be if it is anything related to the heart. Have they done a chest x-ray? Mine looked like an enlarge

How about September Surprise and just call her Tember or September. Fiesta is cool.

You guys are great! Jill, I didn't want to take up your time but if I get stumped I'll email you. Thanks so much!

Thanks again, guys! Mouseears.com didn't work but I found another site that's awesome....guide2wdw.com.

Thank you guys. And I'm so glad you mentioned the Outta Control Dinner Show, SIT! I saw that there was a groupon discount for that but got it in my head that it was for adults only (before coffee ). Off to buy the groupon and check out mouseears.com. I knew this was the right place to look! We would've just gone through her if the certificate wasn't FROM the company travel agency. I'll shoot her a pm in case she has any tips put together.

I figured I'd check in w/some p.com peeps for advice on Disney. We are doing an ultimate, one time family vacation. Hubby won a travel certificate at work and we've got too much to do! Any input on things we shouldn't miss? Disney, six days (if we can even make it all six days...might just double up on parks) Discovery Cove, one day Sea World....don't know where we'll fit this in! Discovery Cove threw in 14 days of Sea World tickets! At some point we are supposed to go to the beach....ha! If that's not crazy enough, I volunteered to take the kids on to Savannah one night and

I'm surprised that Dekalb County doesn't have better things to work on than this!

A buyer's agent should only be concerned with the buyer's best interest. They do not represent the seller. That said, some agents would gladly use an inspector that would not "kill the deal". So finding your own inspector could still be the best option.

Any news? -
Not trying to be a snot but how does this help when the op has dogs, too? Sounds like the neighbors need to work together on this one. Especially if they both make the dogs live outside. We have a similar situation but our dogs are inside so it's not as much of an issue. Still, it would be nice to be able to train them to stop barking when they go potty, so let us know if you find a decent solution.
-
Do the dogs stay outside all the time? If you try an air horn I would talk with the owners about what you want to do. As a matter of fact, maybe you guys could come up with a mutual idea (in case your dogs bark at them, too). I would NOT throw treats to them without consulting the owner and would NEVER throw treats for barking. That will only reinforce the behavior.
