  1. I have seen it, and it looks AMAZING . I'll check out Knack...I'm kind of out of the loop now because I'm no longer eligible to log in to the Sony Retailer Loyalty Site (bummer). I lost a lot of points because I was slow to redeem them.
  2. I'm definitely going to bookmark the site . I don't play multiplayer or campaign games...I'm too old for all of that, lol. I'm an old school RE, Silent Hill, Castlevania SOTN, Final Fantasy player. Along with all the awesome girly Spyro, Ratchett and Clank and Sly Fox games . I'm SUPER excited about the PS4!
  3. LOVE Sony, and am a diehard PS fan. My son~ the 24 year old, has been through at least 5 or 6 crap x-boxes. We still have an original PlayStation that works as well as it did the day it was manufactured, along with our original PS2 and 3. Still play on all of them. I'm headed to read your article as well .
  4. Lol! I'm a redhead, and I would probably still do that. I don't do car work, or yard work, or trash work. Screw that noise. That's what husbands/sons/significant others are for.
  5. Tell her to buy a bundle of dried sage, and walk through the house burning it (over a plate, don't light any curtains or anything ). Smells awesome and clears out any bad juju.
  6. Yes, this was awful. I watched the entire thing shaking my head in disbelief, and the fact that it happened to more than one person.
  7. Well wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery!
  8. HAPPY, happy birthday!!!!!!! I hope you had an awesome one .
  9. I had just gotten in from school...6th grade, I think? I heard Bill Tosh announce it on channel 17. I remember sitting there in shock thinking it was a joke, then they announced it again. I ran down the hall and locked myself in the bathroom and cried my eyes out.
  10. HAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm VERY happy to say that I LOVE my 24 year old son's significant other. They will marry once they have both finished school. I introduced them. She worked for us, so I knew her first. I knew his type and I knew there was no way she wouldn't be head over heels for him , so I arranged an 'accidental' introduction . Both of them, love at first sight (they actually exchanged numbers on the spot, lol)...2 years ago and they are still crazy for each other. She's the best thing that ever happened to him. Mama knows what Mama knows .
  11. I forgot 'The Diary of Anne Frank'...how could I forget that one? I plead sometimers .
  12. VERY happy birthday to your Dad !!!!
  13. Ahhhhhh   My absolute favorite book OF ALL TIME I read, and reread and reread and reread. We also read (and I loved) Flowers for Algernon, To Kill a Mockingbird (Atticus Finch is perhaps my favorite character ever). We also read a lot of short stories, Shirley Jackson's 'The Lottery' is one that will stick with me until I die. I've always read though, I can't remember a time when I wasn't reading .
  14. Yes it is. We were there on their opening day . One of the best ways you can help them, besides visiting of course...is to share their FB page (if you are on FB) to get the word out about them. Hram Books FB page Nice young couple there.
  15. Did you get it straightened out? Mine is fine too and I use Firefox as my browser. I have a regular FB page and one for my art...both are fine.
  16. Hmmmm...I think it may have been Brenda, but I'm not sure? En masse, I met a whole bunch at a party at Amber's house, and made some quick, good friends. I've liked everyone I've met from here...so far . You REALLY have to do something stupid to piss me off for me to not like you. I pretty much love everyone until they do something to make me want to punch them in the throat .
  17. Thank you Ma'am. I'd like to say this is the first time I've had nightmares of someone hurting my children but it happens about once a month . Most times it's ridiculous, like zombies and although bad it's, well...ridiculous. This one was very realistic and it was awful. I took Emma to bed with me the next night because I was afraid to go to sleep. But it's still bothering me and it was a few days ago. *sigh* I hate nightmares.
  18. Yes, happy, pissed off, and the other morning I woke up saying "Oh god, no". Kind of in a quiet scream. Someone was hurting my son in my dream. It was horrible .
  19. I never cared for her either. I think I watched her show the first year it was on, but none after that. Must have been 1987, I think? My daughter was a year old, I believe. I'm sure lots of folks care what her opinions are, I just don't happen to be one of them .
  20. Too, too young . I hate to see these obits for young people. My condolences to his family .
  21. Oh yeah, I forgot cottage cheese. I CAN eat it in lasagna, I use it instead of ricotta (which creeps me out). It's really good in lasagna, but I cannot even think of eating it cold without gagging a little . In a lasagna it's just little cheese balls, it cooks off all of the slimy goop. Are you kidding me, you ate snake?!?!?!?! lol I would have to be dying of starvation before I even considered that, fo'realz.
  22. Frog~ NO. I often keep and raise frogs as pets and just...no. My husband eats them just to piss me off, and I won't kiss him for the entire day . My list of yucks... Alligator, lizard or snake~No, just because~gross . Duck, Greasy and nasty, ewwww. Pigs feet, or skin or ears or any 'odd' part *gag*. Pickled eggs. No organ meat (of anything). Hummus *gag*. Pimento cheese spread. Raw fish. Lobster. Sardines. Clam Chowder, I like clams, just not in a soup. It smells gross . Fried Rice, actually most Chinese food... Most sausage (especially bratwurst). All pickled foods EXCEPT
  23. Hahaha! I was just coming to this thread to gloat . I made it to 170 about 10 minutes ago. I did it with one move left, and I could not believe it. Sheer luck, I kid you not.
  24. Yes, these are my thoughts exactly, Spunkywoman. My thoughts, exactly.
