Mothers that refer to themselves as 'Mommie" all of the time...I know this is an odd one and I see it (on FB) and hear it frequently but it always rubs me the wrong way. Seeing someone read a book and fold it back on itself at the binding. Finger handling cd's and game discs...I HATE fingerprints. All petty, but there they are .

My husband said to thank you for starting this thread...I just made a HUGE pot of Chicken and Dumplings and it is one of his top 3 meals in the entire world .

Yep, all because of this thread I am making Chicken and Dumplings tomorrow!!! My husband is a VERY happy camper .

Gotcha I really kind of hate Turkey myself. I've only ever cooked one in my entire life, it turned out well (as turkey goes ). I usually make a lasagna for thanksgiving, lol.

My dumplings are self rising flour, Crisco and whole milk. If I'm making biscuits to eat alone I'll use buttermilk but I don't use it in my dumplings. The tang of it kind of distracts me .

You might want to try buying the bags of frozen chicken breasts. No de-boning . Also not as much fat from the dark meat.

Mine are very fluffy. I mix my biscuit dough and then just drop the dough into the boiling chicken water. Don't handle them too much, don't roll them or anything like that just 'drop'.

My daughter, son and I would spend a couple of months traveling in the U.K. We would also be looking up some old friends in Germany and hanging with a buddy of mine in Scotland. Buy some mountain property in TN and build our dream home/secluded cabin. Take a cruise with my husband to Alaska . Buy a Land Rover, and an old 60's hearse...and have a kick ass custom paint job- spooky zombie graveyard scene painted on it . Finish all of the tattoos I want (need). Right. If the 'artwork' includes young children, then that is a problem. I am an artist myself. I collect art from all over the world. If your 'artwork' involves sexuality and young children~ you have a problem. The solution is castration and general population.

I'm just glad the couple was able to exit safely. My husband has been driving for 30 years, and is currently with Old Dominion. Scary stuff. I hope the couple (if this was owner operated) can recover their loss.

Thank goodness I have never been in this situation either. I just hope that you can find someone who can get you some type of relief before a freaking month. That is ridiculous. My thoughts and well wishes are with you, and I will actively ask around to see if anyone else has had a similar experience and can offer help. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this.
