  1. Do you just want the recycled or do you want them securely erased then recycled? The Paulding county recycling center takes computers. I securely wipe (to DoD specs) hard drives for $5 each.
  2. VMware player is nice, but I actually prefer virtualbox for home use. I think it runs faster than vmware player. I switched to it the last 2 operating system classes I taught and the students overall had a better experience. Boo, M/W are my normal class days. He's not taking a unix/linux class is he?
  3. The signs start at $70 per month per panel with a 6 month minimum.
  4. If your on the Marietta campus you should come to the AITP meeting tomorrow at 5:00. I'll be giving a presentation about Virtualization technologies. What they are, how they work and when we should/should not use them.
  5. I emailed to find out what the cost is. I don't mind garage sale or political signs. But I do think if you can't put out a garage sale sign, you shouldn't be able to put out a political sign. I kinda like the traditional (although I know not actually legal) system. Signs can up up Friday evening, but any left on Monday morning get taken up. Keeps things clean yet still lets people put out garage sale, and small business signs. I'm guessing there is a monthly charge, or at least some term. We'll find out though.
  6. There are several over by me. It will be interesting to see how much use they get. For me I think they are too small to be useful. Overall I don't think they look good, but don't think they look terrible. One is leaning which does look pretty bad. Doesn't look like it was hit, just like the pole didn't get a good bite into the dirt. I saw a coming soon sign at the entrance to seven hills a few days ago. I would be pretty unhappy if there was one in the entrance of my neighborhood.
  7. We love Greenville. My wife lived there for about half of her youth. We have seriously considered moving there and its still not out of the question. It's a very nice place.
  8. They have been stopping by here about once every 2 weeks for the last 6 months. I've always been polite, but its getting annoying. Several times I've been on the phone and said. "I'm in the middle of a phone call" The response has been, "Then I'll be brief, let me read you this verse... Like a recent thread though, they are no worse than the AJC and AT&T people that seem to constantly come by.
  9. Happen to have many kids dvds?
  10. Pacific spice. I think they are good. But haven't been in quite awhile.
  11. Pandora with a cassette adapter is how I roll Kickin it old school.
  12. Earplugs for sure. I was at Bristol last weekend, food and alcohol was acceptable. Glass is not allowed, coolers have to fit under your seat. I'd suggest sunscreen as well, especially if your making a day of it. We've also tailgated post race before, as traffic can sometimes be brutal. More info here My link
  13. Power 96.1 brought back all kinds of memories of "Power 99" Anyone else remember that? Not sure if it was 1 or 2 names before 99x
  14. Sounds good. We'll talk to you tomorrow Nick
  15. Sure, I can save them all as editable files, so you could edit them with any program. If you have a vista or win7 computer windows movvie maker is quite simpple to use and has all the commonly needed features. Nick
  16. Last summer they came to my house, were asking info about other people in the area with kids, sounds like the exact scenario. It was pretty strange, but gave out no info and got rid of them as quickly as possible.
  17. $10-$20 per sounds about right my prices tend to be on the low end of everyone else's and I charge $10 each. Which includes the DVD's cases and lightscribe labels. Additional copies are $2 each for 5 or less, and go down from there.
  18. How many tapes do you have? If its only a few it may be cheaper to pay to have it done, that get it all setup yourself?
  19. Just noticed about an hour ago a slight brown color to our water. Its very slight, but its there. Smell and taste is fine. Is anyone else seeing it? FIre truck was testing hydrants in the neighborhood today, could there by any connection?
  20. I used to play basketball there when I was in elementary school. I went to king springs
  21. You may want to do another speedtest now and save your results somewhere. That way if you start to have problems again you'll have a baseline measurement from when it was working well.
