I don't see the breaks lasting forever. Sept was recently added and Feb wasn't there when I graduated (11 years ago :yikes: ). I wish we used our breaks more effectively as a system. I read an article about a school system who used those breaks as reteaching opportunities for kids who failed for the previous quarter. Actually, now that I think about it, it was a 9/3 year round schooling (9 weeks in, 3 weeks out) FWIW, I give students who are failing packets of makeup work every.single.break (Sept, Nov, Dec, Feb, Apr) along with a detailed progress report. I Dr. Roger Sisk (near the Avenues). I like that he asks my daughter questions about how she's feeling (she's 4) and listens to her. I rarely have to translate. His staff is amazing and when I call with questions, they always follow up to see how my daughter is doing.

Interesting. I have Carroll EMC. I'll have to look into that. I over-pay in the months that the bill is low (winter, fall, spring) so that the summer months don't hurt so much. I do the same with my Scana.

I made my brother come over and help me rearrange my bedroom so that my bed would be under the a/c vent. I was able to crank it up a degree or two because of that. My ceiling fans run non-stop.

No it's not.....it's exactly the same thing. In AMERICA, you're presumed INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty. Since she wasn't proven guilty (hince, the not guilty verdict) then she is innocent.

Oh, thank goodness. She served her time for the crime she was CONVICTED of committing. I hope like hell, if I'm ever accused of any wrongdoing, there is not a single pcommer on my jury. In fact, I'll insist my attorney ask that question in the jury selection phase. Let her fade away. She's controlling way too many people's lives.

I think that if you're behaving like a dumbass, you should be called out on it. Of course, that's different than just being mean for no reason. With that said, sometimes there's beef that started elsewhere that ends up in a thread and it appears posters are being mean. Either way, if you're being a dumbass, I'll call you a dumbass.
