  1. Are you getting 3 separate people's certificates or 3 copies on 1 person's? It makes a difference on this conversation.
  2. You might be on to something here......I have a deck that needs to be stained, hardwood that needs to be laid.....
  3. Can't do it that weekend. Cabin trip. Way more epic. :giggle: I'm willing to sell tickets to this event.
  4. Deal. Make a sign out sheet. And when you go to the UK I'm flying out for a long weekend......and for official U effing N biznaz.
  5. Word. Had this EXACT conversation with NC and her husband last night. Right down to the faucet bolts. Are you me?
  6. Shorts are okay as long as we can't see ass or cooch (ahem, NC). My mom wears "capris." I HATE them because they're denim, but not jeans and she thinks they go with EVERYTHING and any shoes will do. Oh, and I hate minis. On everybody.
  7. These people didn't ASK to be on the jury and therefore their names should be withheld. Of course, if the state was smart, they'd have jurors sign privacy waivers..... ?
  8. Yes, this is what exactly what America needs------lawmakers reacting to emotion rather than thinking things out logically. Isn't that how we get some of our half-assed laws full of loopholes that render them ineffective?
  9. The IRS is what did Hoffa in.....perhaps they'll persue that as "tax evasion" and get her quite a few years. I most definately hope that no one ever holds the least of my accomplishments against me, especially if I've done so much more with my life beyond that.
  10. also, first one to talk gets the bigger $.
  11. Why not get paid? Lord knows they've got to recoup from all of those unpaid weeks.
  12. lol.....go ahead and go. It's the last home game for a while since the next series is away and then all-star break.
  13. I honestly don't know. I've never had jury duty. "There is no State law in Florida that requires employers to pay jurors while they are serving on jury duty." http://www.juryblog.com/the-jurors-rights/right-to-get-paid-by-government/
  14. I'm taking my kiddo tonight. Rain was at 40% last time I checked, but it's been that way the last few days. At least they don't have school tomorrow if there is a delay
  15. did you at least put a bra on this time?
  16. That's crap. It's not small potatoes. Sure, they can't LOSE their jobs over it, but they can lose their incomes. All of these weeks worth of hourly work, lost. Who pays these mortgages in the mean time? Provides for their families? These people weren't UNEMPLOYED, they lost earnings to serve their countries and fulfill their civil duties.
  17. I vote you let her solve her own problem next time. So far that method is working with my 4 year old.
  18. You're right. I was watching the 11 o'clock news and they flashed up "Fulton, Dekalb, and Douglas" and I misheard the context. I don't understand what the prosecutors will do in those counties, since the cheating took place in Atlanta. I haven't been able to find a decent summary of the report.
  19. I used to use a sea salt spray be John Freda, but they quit making it......so now I pull and pray (put my hair back and pray it stays back).
