  1. Brian Ott in Douglasville. Great guy and good work. Ott Gun Works. Phone # 678-840-9484 (ignore the fact that he is a yankee) (just kidding, he is a good guy)
  2. I like the I Hate Auto Correct sites. Fall of the chair funny.
  3. OK, you got me. I fell for them all. (well except for the hair part, I can't see in my ears) My eyes sure do burn.
  4. No one ever follows me any more. Glad all are ok.
  5. When I signed up for paulding.com I knew nothing about what I was doing or even exactly what paulding.com was. When I chose stradial for my screen name, I had no idea that it would be my "handle" on line. If I was starting on pcom now and knowing more about what I am doing, I would use a different screen name. Something more in line with me, such as "Crumudgen" or "Grouchy Old Man" or "Get outta my Yard". What would you use if you changed your name? Or perhaps what name would give another pcommer? (if you can't play nice, please don't answer the 2nd question) (I don't need to b
  6. Us anti-marathoners are too lazy to get up and even protest, much less put in the effort and work this took.
  7. I spent more than my share of time in bars of all types. From the high end ones to the cinder block ones where if you don't have a gun, they give you one. I had some problems here and there, but none that got too out of hand. (I was a lover, not a fighter) But interestingly enough, my best buddy was involved in more "fights" and by fights I mean he got punched in the face, more than anyone I knew. I would say that perhaps 40% of the time he was being a jerk and kinda brought it on his self, but strangely enough, the other 60% he was just punched without any provication. I guess he just
  8. Don't shoot the cats and they will handle the chipmunks. (and maybe a few rats)
  9. First, I hope that this situation gets resolved to everyone's satisfaction and that all stay safe. And that if someone needs to be arrested, they do get arrested and convicted. Second, and nothing to do with the OP's specific situation, which I only know from what I understand in reading the posts. When I was growing up, a block from "downtown" Smyrna back in the 60's and 70's, it was very common to have people shooting in their own yards. The man across the street kept his (and ours) squirrel population down by shooting them with his .410 shotgun, almost weekly. I would shoot in my bac
  10. Here is one of the last of the "old time" cowboys, Monte Walsh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GuNfq451Kw
  11. I have been posting all along, it's just that my posts haven't been that noticeable or that memorable. I enjoy pcom and all of those who make it up. I did notice that all of those who I have known, as they say IRL, for several years, seem to be lightning rods on here. But then again, I have caused a few bolts myself so who am I to throw stones. I can say that there is no lady (or person of the female sex, just in case lady is not politically correct ) that I have any issue with on pcom. Yep, that includes the Great and Powerful former member. According to my doctor, I am
  12. My answer to number 3. While I do not park in the yard, I would if I wanted to; reason: 'cause I own it. I have in the past parked in the yard at some places I have owned when: A. We had too many vehicles to park in the drive and garage B. The garage had been turned into something else and the driveway would only hold one car C. I didn't wish to block the other cars from leaving by parking in the driveway D. I was too drunk to do anything but fall out of the vehicle and the grass made a softer landing place than the driveway would I hope this helps.
  13. I am still popping in, I just don't have much to say. I mean, I haven't been posting much. (a lot of people think I have nothing to say when I do post a lot, so I thought I would clarify)
  14. Looooove me some COPS. When we watch it, I'm always yelling, "Tase 'em again!"; while the wife is yelling, "He didn't do anything wrong!".
  15. So they know everything I buy and do? Half the time the people watching me are falling asleep from boredom and the other half they are saying; "Oh no! Not again! Can you believe this guy??"
  16. Is my ex coming after me? If no, then I will not be running. Good luck to all.
