First, it is not because I am better than "that" or anyone else. It is because I was taught that if you do not have standards, ethics and principles and stand by them, then you are someone that "blows with the wind". Or as my dad used to say; "There isn't much to that person." IMHO, in todays world very few still teach their kids morals, ethics, principles and standards. It is take care of yourself, no matter what. So, many have a hard time understanding why someone would quit a job that required them to go against their principles. Their principles are flexable. Like the example I used

You just keep telling yourself that. Some people have what is know as morals and standards. They stand up for what they believe is right. I have always tried to teach my son to do the right thing, because it is the right thing to do, regardless of how it may affect what he wants. I have done so myself in the past and will continue to try and do so in the future. You remind me of the guy who gets an extra $10 in change and keeps it, but who will swear they do not steal.

My wife is that mother-in-law that treats the grandkids like they were her own kids. In her defense, the grandkids mother and father helped create the situation by having us keep the children so much over the past 5 years. (the oldest is 5) To my wife's credit, she realizes this and has been working on saying no and backing off.

I am against most of Public Displays of Affection by anyone, except the most basic and minor ones. This includes PDAs from two young hot chicks, however, if they would like me to stop by their place while they are displaying affection, I am willing to do so. That is just the kind of liberal I am.
