  1. They had an issue getting ole Lee Harvey Oswald buried also. His brother and to some extent his mother would deserve my respect if that procession was passing me by. They did nothing wrong. BTW LHO's brother always thought that Lee shot Kennedy
  2. Shocked that it has taken this long to find her, what should be, guilty, when she confessed to killing him.
  3. As a general rule, most funeral processions are lead by a law enforcement vehicle that has it's emergancy lights on. GA requires that you pull over for an emergancy vehicle with it's lights on.
  4. My pet rock, Homer, could do tricks. Well...it was really only two tricks. He could roll over and stay.
  5. I hide my money under the sofa cushions. I don't do it on purpose, but that is where I usually find it when I am looking for it.
  6. It's about time the young and the poor started carrying the load.
  7. I've posted this before, but here it is again. A few Christmas's ago the wife had over $300 worth of the grandkid's presents stolen out of her unlocked car while it was in our driveway. I was ranting and raving to my buddy on the phone about it, really just going off. When I paused to take a breath, he very camly said; "Take it easy, it was just a mistake. I'm sure she has learned her lesson and it won't happen a 2nd time." I replied, quite forcefully; "You're dang right it won't happen a 2nd time! This is the 3rd time!" My buddy's responce was a very quit; "Ohhhhh.........Then I got noth
  8. I am happy with my address. Like I said, I got over this when I lived in Cobb County, was not in any city limits, had my mail delivered through the Smyrna PO and had an Atlanta address and ZIP.
  9. Maybe he just "pulled a Costanza" and kept showing back up the next day.
  10. Sorry to hear about you windshield, but I am glad to hear you are ok. Weird stuff was happening in tha area today. I was in the same area around the same time practicing with my 9 iron and I hit a ball that went straight up, but never came back down. Hmmmmm.....you don't think......did the white thing say Titleist? (just kidding, except for the 1st line)
  11. Many years ago when the earth was young, I lived behind Cumberland Mall. I was not in any city, just county. My mail was delivered by the Smyrna post office, although I had an Atlanta adress and zip. Of course nowdays they call that part Vinings, but I can promise you it not only wasn't Vinings, it was closer to the Smyrna city line by a mile or so.
  12. Soccer seems to draw the worst people. I don't know why that is. Look at all the riots at soccer matches.
  13. I would only recommend him if...you wanted someone reliable, dependable, fair, honest and good to work on your mower. ETA oh yeh and a nice guy
  14. Our game room was the neighborhood and the woods. Of course that was before electricity so we did what we could. Game rooms came just a hair to late for me, but I did play some Packman in a few bars once it came out, not a lot, but some.
  15. He probably still lives at home. After all he is only 34.
  16. Ummm, I am not sure about the size. I was suprised to see how much room the new Prius 4's have. Although, the batteries do take up a lot of room. The Prius is actually better in traffic for MPG than it is on the highway. My 2012 Camry gets around close to 40 mpg average on the highway, but it could do better. My driving style is not mpg average friendly.
  17. I hear Rhode Island is looking into getting indoor/outdoor carpet for the whole state. (see, it's a small state...a very small state...I'm talking really, really small)
  18. My wife bought a Prius and I have to say that despite my doubts, it was a smart move. She averages over 50 miles per gallon. I know nothing about Mercedes or Audis. But I do know a lady who's sister has a Mecerdes and room for a poney.
  19. Thanks to Subby, I got the grass cut today before the rain set in. Now I just need to weed eat, before the wife and the neighbors throw me out.
  20. My wife gave my permission to cheat if I find a sweet young thing in her 20's who wants me. Well.....I guess she gave me permission...when I asked if I could, she laughed and then said; "Yeh, go ahead"; and kept on laughing. Somehow, it seemed as if she was insulting me.
  21. My wife told me I couldn't complain if a gay man married my girlfriend.
